Cute Riad for a weekend break!

The staff here are great and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast was pretty good and included in the price. There’s a nice roof top (not next to the pool) to relax and sunbathe on. It’s not an Instagram pool- quite small- but if you’re looking for somewhere to cool off after the day it’s fine. The spa service was fine and a good price but it’s not luxury. In terms of location, about 25 min walk to the souks and main square- very accessible! We’d recommend the airport meet and greet as it can be a little difficult to find iniatially. Great Riad for a short stay!

Just in Marrakesh, March 2018

A very nice place, clean and efficient. The neighborhood is a little off the beaten path, but not far from most of the places one would like to visit. We stayed in one other riad in Marrakesh and the breakfast in the Riad Utopia was more modest, and could be improved. But a nice place overall.

A relaxing oasis

We had an absolute wonderful stay at Riad Utopia. Arriving at the beautiful oasis amongst the hectic Marrakech streets was instantly relaxing with the beautiful setting, scented air, and welcoming staff. Abdul was nothing short of wonderful and helped us get settled with tea and biscuits and kindly organised spa treatments for us the next day. The room was large and has the most wonderful bath. Note that there is only a sheer curtain between the bedroom and bathroom but the toilet is separate. The bed is comfortable and I had a comfortable sleep. We had a lovely breakfast, large for a riad, with eggs, fruit, yoghurt, bread, French toast, pancakes, orange juice and coffee. We sat by the pool downstairs but it is an option to have it on the rooftop terrace, which is a great spot for some private sunbaking. I recommend having a Hammam and massage at the spa - such a relaxing way to finish up our treat and we felt absolutely pampered. The only minor thing to note is that the walls are not absolutely soundproof. We were downstairs so most likely closer to noise in the morning. It wasn't a real issue as everyone tends to be quiet but worth noting if you're a light sleeper. But this is very standard for a riad. Definitely recommend and would happily come back!

Paradise in the middle of the medina

It seemed very hidden, but after walking the area we found that the location was just perfect, close but quiet, private and safe. The service was amaizing, the administrator took 15 minutes to tell us about the medina and warn us about usual scams. It was the best in our 5 city travel in Morroco, the food was outstanding and the room was quite ethnic contemporary style, not overwhelming like other roads we've been.

Different but special

It is a different concept if you are accustom to Vegas type hotels. It is definitely something that you must try. It is shocking when you arrive in your car and it can not go thru the walkways and you need to walk thru. It is impacting when you see you walking thru those confined spacesp. But, you get accustom quite fast. Residents help you and protect you. The hotel is very personalized. You feel in heaven with such as good services. They are concentrated on every single detail to please you. Breadfast and Dinner are very good and affordable

Luxurious hotel, friendly staff

We had a wonderful 2 nights in this lovely hotel. We were welcomed with mint tea and some information about Marrakech. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a great bathroom. The staff were fab and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble for them and they would go out of their way to help. Location - isn't too hard to find following signs and directions provided. The roof terrace is perfect for relaxing after a day of walking around, and a the pool is great for a refreshing dip. Overall would recommend to anyone travelling to Marrakech - thanks for a great stay.

It was sometimes tough to find a staff member but when you found them they were very helpful and the owners were amazing. Food was delicious and was a great oasis from the hectic city

A home away from home

All the staff were extremely friendly, the riad was beautifully decorated and the food prepared by Najet was of a high standard. It was such a peaceful, warm and cosy place to stay and it was difficult to leave. It truly was a home away from home and would highly recommend a stay here. A special mention should go to Ajid who really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and having the best possible stay in Marrakech as possible

A haven amidst the chaos!

Staff at the riad were fantastic, nothing was to much trouble for them. The rooms were of a high standard for the style of property and the breakfast and other services were spot on. My only complaints would be the level of late evening and early morning noise (our rooms were the two closest to the kitchen and lounge areas and with thin doors it was impossible not be woken up at 7am every morning). In addition, the property is situated in a relatively remote area and the walk back in the evenings can be a little daunting for female travellers).

Beautiful Riad in Marrakech

We had a lovely stay at the Riad Utopia. The Riad itself is beautiful and everything you would want a small Riad in Marrakech to be. The staff and the owners are so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning and it was always a surprise as to what it would be each day, the homemade yoghurt and orange juice were delicious. I would definitely recommend taking the transfer offered by the Riad from the airport to the hotel if you haven't been to Marrakech before as the first time it can be a little tricky to find. I would also recommend having dinner at the Riad, we had it on our first night as we arrived quite late and it was probably one of the best tagines we had!

A nice choice

This was a nice, peaceful Riad. The common areas, especially the room terrace was beautiful. It wasn't the most beautiful we stayed at, and the breakfast was all breads. However, it was an excellent stay.

French Hospitality with a Real African Heart

I feel like I went to Africa and came back with family! The owners Eloise and Sebestien are so lovely and provide the most tranquil atmosphere from the welcome to the beautiful sanctuary that appears as you enter the courtyard from the dusty winning streets. Adil what can I say! The famous host of Marrakesh- he is genuinely the most kind hearted special man. He looked after my mum and I and gave clear unbiased local advice of how to get around, culture, sights and just generally went well out of his his way to make sue we had the best possible stay; he's like this with everyone and creates a friendly and assured rapport with all guests. My ladies in the kitchen and the spa became like aunts and sisters, regardless of the language differences we laughed, joked and shared time together while food was prepared or shared stories in the Hamam & massage.

Beautiful Riad with lovely friendly staff!

Enjoyable and relaxing stay made easy by the friendly and helpful staff . Rooms were very spacious with authentic Riad experience. Breakfast every morning was brilliant. The location is excellent, 15 mins walk to main square and surrounding tourist sites. The Riad is peaceful.

A little piece of heaven

My sister and I stay at Riad Utopia for 8 nights and it was simply heaven on earth. Both of us were first time visitors to Marrakech, and a little nervous we had nothing to worry about! The Riad organised an airport transfer for us (which I would highly recommend as it is a little tricky to find on your first visit.) the driver was waiting for us at the airport for our 1.30am arrival! Once arrived at the Riad we were warmly welcomed and show our room. After a long trip we slept late into the next day, breakfast was waiting for us still at 1pm. It was then we met Adil who sat with us for about an hour showing us maps, giving us tips of best places to visit, organising outings and generally answering questions we had. Adil was there almost always to help with anything we needed, nothing was ever too much. Sébastien, the owner was also around most days. Both Sébastien and Adil made us feel like family, each day asking what we had been doing, giving us tips and generally just being super kind a helpful. Everything was done excellently at the Riad, not only did it look stunning, everything was taken care of. The food was good. Each morning it was easy to get out of bed because breakfast was so good! All the staff there were super flexible, kind, happy and friendly. When it came to the end of our time at Riad Utopia, we were very sad to leave. We can't not recommend Riad Utopia enough, in my opinion there is nowhere else better to stay in Marrakech.

The perfect stay

This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are lovely and the hotel might be the most beautiful I've ever seen. Combine that with staff willing to help you with anything and great food on offer. it couldn't be better. The owners are friendly and helpful, and will go out of their way to help you. We had an amazing week and I would go back again.
