We stayed at Trullove for a week and could have just stayed on. We were a group of three families with teenage (and older) kids and we all absolutely loved it. The main house had enough space for us to prepare meals for the big group (lots of fun) and we could choose to eat outside or inside. Loved the different living areas offered in the main house, the villetta and the trulli, and we really had so much space to enjoy, together and alone.
The pool.....what can I say....we would head to the pool as soon as we woke, with our coffee and books, and have a morning swim before heading out for the day's adventures. The house was close enough to nearby villages that we didn't feel as if it just took too long to pop out for supplies.
It did take all of us a little time to find the house on arrival, but once we got the lay of the land, it was pretty easy to get around. We have passed on a couple of tips that we thought would be useful for visitors finding the house.
Loved Lucia, the property manager who was very helpful with all our questions. We picked apricots from the tree in the garden, used all the herbs from the garden and appreciated the wine, bread, crackers and garlic left for us on arrival.
Honestly, the house is probably the best house we have stayed in with a large group, and we all thought that it was really well equipped with an abundance of kitchenware that meant we weren't constantly washing up. Decorated beautifully! Our children all loved their time there, especially with the pool and the table tennis table. Anyway, I could just keep raving about the house, but will leave it for future guests to discover themselves. Oh, one last thing - the requirement to separate rubbish for recycling and compost was great. Thank you so much - we hope to be back some day.
