Went hoping to get away from it all... That was an understatement. The view was excellent, the cottage is just what the doctor ordered. Still well withing a simple drive to ANYTHING you need. The warmer months should bolster the feeling of tranquility. Great spot for sure

So cozy and cute!
This cottage provided my boyfriend and I with the most relaxing little getaway. The cottage is stocked with everything you need. David is very hospitable and quick to respond when you need anything/have any concerns. I would highly recommend renting this cottage!

Description was accurate. Photos are too except they have new sofas that are blue. Place was spotless. Nice outdoors area. We used the grill and the fire pit ring one day. We drove across the bridge into NY and explored a little over there. It is fun to watch all the people floating by. I am sure in the winter months the river is very quiet. Rafting is a short walk away and looked fun. Thank you for the hospitality! stayed 2 night and drove in

Quaint and comfortable accommodations in a quiet environment. Lamps in bedroom and living space could be brighter for reading. Seat level in living area lower than ideal but adequate. Trying to contact owner as spouse forgot bag in bedroom. Overall would definitely return for the peace and serenity property offered.

What a lovely cottage right on the river! The cottage was immaculately clean and decorated tastefully. We had a good experience communicating with David. We really enjoyed sitting in the chairs right by the river as well as the table top fire on the deck. The weather was glorious and we were able to check out one of the local trails. We even saw a bald eagle right on the property. The only negative, which can't be helped, is the sound of the busy road on the New York side of the river. We were hoping it was more remote. Thank you for hosting us!

The cottage was perfect! Everything about the cottage was just as it was described. The cottage was neat as a pin upon arrival, we got in at night and David had the light on and music playing for us. Would definitely recommend the Cottage to others as the perfect weekend retreat.

The cabin was just as described. A great, clean space for us to enjoy our time and get away from the city. A nice, small kitchen allowed us to cook meals and enjoy as we watched the river go by. There is an excellent selection of records to choose from as you spend your time.

Very nice place to unplug, lots of really nice touches and even a kitchen area that’s better stocked than you might expect. We’re able to cook some great meals, enjoy the fireplace and record player, and take in the awesome view of the river from the wall to wall windows of the main living space. Would love to return in the warmer weather to take better advantage of the property and fire pits!
