It was quaint and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Upon check in we were told we did not have the all inclusive option included in our reservation, although not a huge extra expense not an expected one either. The buffet was small, and not impressive, and the other restaurants were only available certain nights by reservation only. The bars didn’t open until 11am, and only one bar open past 11pm. The rooms definitely were not fancy, or even a little bit soundproof. Every morning starting around 6:30 we heard dish carts rolling on the tile and dishes rattling, staff setting up for whatever was going on for the day which most mornings meant a lot of slamming. All of which sounded right outside our door. Once we settled into our routine this was a nice place to stay. The beach was beautiful and it was close to a downtown shopping area with several restaurants and shops.

A true Mexico getaway! This property is massive. Many pools, restaurants,shows, staff, bars, cenote and amenities. Most staff here speak very little English but it was great. Not an international destination and mostly families from cities around Mexico on holiday visit here. For an All Inclusive resort the food and drinks were outstanding. You need a map to find everything at this hotel. Ocean views from hotel room is breathtaking. Walking distance to many shops and attractions. On a public beach with many vendors and bands.

Love this hotel. This is my 4 or 5 time staying here. Nice clean hotel right at the beach. Food is great. Be carefull its buffet stlye so you end up eating to much and gaining weght lol. This time we stayed on leftside of property. Well they just open a night club for new years and noise level was way too much till 3 or 4am. Then hotel clean up crew showed up and they were bit noisy too. Not sure if this will contuine to be issue in future but recommened asking before booking because it does drain you because lack of sleep over days. People stayed on right side of hotel said they did hear night club but just heard people coming in to rooms late night or early morning. In all stay was great could been better with noise issue we had on left side of hotel. As to safety of Mazatlan we had no issue but we were super carefull were we went and with who. Never out too late. But many others were out late had no issue in tourist zone. Overall we love Mazatlan and this hotel. Just be safe and plan out everything good and you have a awesome time. Check out at 11am you only use bathrooms after 11 not rest of hotel which is bummer if you have later flights out from mazatlan. Be ready for that also or ask hotel how to accomate for that too.

Resort was nice but I would never stay again because of Joes Oyster bar. It’s right next door to the resort and they play insanely loud music till 4:30am!!! It’s unbelievably loud. I know this isn’t coming from the resort but something should be done about it. Being kept up till 4:30 at night is miserable. There are also too many sales folk on the beach and way too many mariachos. They are constantly on the beach and also playing loud music. Forget listening to the ocean or reading a book on the beach. Would not stay again. The service is good as long as if you give hefty tips every meal. You don’t tip they won’t even offer you coffee.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The buffet was okay the restaurant food was a better choice. The coffee cafe was great. It was over crowded, especially in the pool area. several charter buses came in and out through out the week. The hotel also allowed day passes which my have been the reason. We were the only Americans there and seemed like the only ones who tipped, The staff was very grateful. The pool bar said adults only but there were children constantly coming and ordering drinks as well. That was a little frustrating
