This is the second time we have stayed at Aura on Flinders and once again our stay was fantastic. Check in was quick and easy. The staff were very friendly. Our room was great, everything we needed was in there. Lots of dining options, transport is easy to access. We will definately book again.

Good price, great location if you’re planning on hitting the town for the night. The superior view room was one of if not the best view I’ve ever had of the city scape. Had some trouble adjusting to the train lines being so close the first night but settled in the second night.

Fantastic location in the CBD. Close to train station free tram options. Lots of food and shopping options. An older style building that could do with some freshening up, but excellent value for money.

Disappointing

The quality was very short of exception. The location was convenient for the conference centre but otherwise disappointing. The photos made the building appear much nicer and in better condition than it was. The apartment was slightly dirty and maintenance was shabby (dents in the walls and scuff marks all over). The place looked liked it had seen too many parties and zero repaid for years. The staff were present but inattentive and lacked any concern for the guests.

The bed head was loose, the power from the power point LHS of bed flickered power on and off and was jammed behind the bed so we couldn't use them. the tap in the kitchen is loose. the tv remote only worked every third or fourth try and the battery cover is tape. very dirty windows.

I suggest if you are on lower floors you’re not getting anything special. Balcony was cool, view of a high rise Carpark and rubbish all over adjoining roofs. I still enjoyed my stay, bedroom was brilliant and no noise to worry about. I would gladly stay here again.

The staff gave me a free upgrade to one of the rooms that I booked which was nice however they made me and my family to wait for 2 hours for other room after checkins time so we were able to check in by 4 pm. Good that we were able to wait in the first room till they sort the second room for us. However overall property condition was good enough. They could provide bare minimum services though such as don’t ask customers to takeout rubbish and put on the dishwasher. This is what a house keeper can do. People come to relax and enjoy their stay. Just a thought to consider.

Great location . Close to everything. However mouldy bathroom in and around shower. Noisy Saturday night . There is a club across the lane . Small bedrooms and no coffee machine as stated when booked. Lucky we found excellent coffee around the corner

The apartment was clean, spacious and had a wonderful view of Melbourne. Parking was reasonably priced. We felt very safe. The variety of restaurants allowed us to sample different foods. We would definitely return again.
