Staff were very nice. Place was clean and felt comfortable. Shared bathrooms but was always available when needed and felt safe. Would absolutely stay again!

The guy at reception is super nice and welcoming. I'm a female lone traveller and felt safe there. Very well located. I stayed in the standard room with ensuite. Super happy. I should not on Friday night the noise was pretty loud from the surrounding bar areas in comparison to the Thursday night. I still managed to dose off just something to note. Will be staying there again without a doubt.

Really great for a budget hotel! Staff were super friendly felt comfortable and safe here! :] Although bathroom utilities were shared it also felt comfortable to use them, overall a really good experience for a cheap price

No lift very inconvenient for a stroller. Very dirty shared bathrooms, paper towels always empty toilets not cleaned properly, if at all, mould in various places water stains on ceilings and flaky paint throughout the building. Shabby appliances. Building In much need of maintenance throughout.

Great spot to stay. My room was clean and tidy and the person on reception was very efficient and friendly. The only thing I missed was shampoo, which I will take with me next time I stay. All in all a good experience. (Light sleepers might want to choose a room away from the street as rubbish removal comes early in the morning)

Value for money, the basics I needed...bed, fridge, real hangers, linens. Never had to wait to use the bathrooms. There was TV, a heater if I needed it, and windows that open. The door locks only if you lock it with the key, which is peace of mind. So very close to some of the best locations in Melbourne, and for the Marathon, as good as it gets.

I didn’t want to stay in the city center but I am glad I did!! I only booked one night because budget can mean so many different things, but as soon as I got there and saw the size of the room, the amenities and how clean it was for the price I booked 3 more night! This is a can’t go wrong booking. You will be in the city center with a tram and metro stop right outside your door. I will probably book another night here on my way out of Melbourne.
