I chose this place because I thought it would be a good place for 2 adults and 2 children, but that didn't turn out to be the case. We were unprepared for the amount of flies that were in the apartment when we entered it. I killed 8 within the first hour. Apparently, they congregate in the windows of the back room, which is where we intended for the kids to sleep. There were fly traps in a drawer in the bathroom, so either the owner or a previous renter has also experienced the flies. The listing advertised a second bedroom that included a queen bed and a sleeper sofa/futon (which we needed for the 2 kids). When I reached out to the owner about this, she said the sofa bed was in the living room, which was not what the listing stated. While the living room did include a sofa bed, the living room doesn't have curtains or Blinds that fully cover the windows, which doesn't make that space conducive to sleeping in. It was also difficult to rest in the apartment due to the sounds of the neighbors walking overhead and the almost constant creaking of the bed from any minor movement. Additionally, there are a couple of things that would have been helpful to know upfront: the back bedroom has a door that leads directly outside (also not great for young children), the front bedroom doesn't have a door that allows for privacy between the living room and the bedroom, and the living room couch and carpet are filthy.
