Our room smelt like sewage and was subground overlooking a carpark, which felt super unsafe. Airport transfer is a total pain and only available every 30 mins. They have two people checking everyone from packed bus when you finally get to hotel. No benefits from being an Expedia VIP, including not receiving the complimentary items or upgrades promised.

Overall, the stay served our purpose - be near the airport for an early connecting flight the following morning. However, we waited an hour at the Mexico City international airport for the hotel shuttle and it never arrived. Took an uber to the hotel (which is what I normally do, but the hotel messaged me earlier about check-in procedures and that’s how I learned about the “shuttle every 30 minutes” service.). That was a waste of our time. I do not recommend the buffet either, overpriced for what you get. The margaritas were good, actually very good. Giving it an average rating due to food quality and very disappointing shuttle experience.
