Just What We Needed

Alex was warm and welcoming and oriented us to the property. The property was clean, spacious, airy, and light-filled. Easy walking to downtown area and to Dogfish Head Brewery. A central location for exploring the area.

We will be back!
This apartment was perfect for our last minute trip to Delaware to visit family. Communication was excellent and the place was spotless. My husband’s only complaint had to do with channel availability on the TV, but with the provided WiFi, I got him set up on his device. We arrived at night, so it was a little difficult to locate just because it was dark. Overall, we really liked the place and have it saved for our next Delaware visit.

Great location. Very quiet. Alex is a great communicator from start to finish. The apartment is absolutely immaculate and organized with everythingyou need. She went over everything from where the light switches are to how to work the stove...15 minute walking distance to Milton Theatre. Will definitely stay here again.

Great little place for my stay for a weekend conference in nearby Lewes. Charming property and Alex is a wonderful hostess. Quiet and close to everything. Highly recommend for 1 or 2 folks.

Nice place but a few problems
The property was perfectly clean and neat. I thought it was perfect for my wife and I when we got there. When we got into bed that night that changed. Although Alex (our host) said the mattress was hardly used it felt like there was a hole in the middle. Alex did offer to give us an air mattress but we didn't want to go thru the hassle. The next day we tried to use the TV in the living room and it didn't get a signal. The cable box didn't work. The remote for the bedroom TV turned it on but didn't turn it off. Alex seem sincere in her apology but these things weren't expected. She also didn't communicate as quickly as I'd have exptected stating that once she was spackling upstairs while her phone was downstairs and once that she was in a dead zone. This is the first time I haven't given at least 4 stars and I am in the minority when it comes to the other reviews. Alex did say she'd be contacting the store that sold her the mattress and was going to fix the cable box but, in my mind, those are things that should have been addressed before my stay.

Alex’s apartment was the cleanest apartment I have ever rented. Her attention to detail is unparalleled. Her tiny kitchen was perfectly stocked and fully function for my boys and I. Milton Gem!
Alex is a wonderful host, our stay in Milton was fantastic! we enjoyed a little music at Memorial Park on the Broadkill River and Milton Theater on Union St. Lots of beach time at Herring Point. Biked around town and had a great dinner at Po Boys. Looking forward to next time!!
