Perfect Little Getaway

Spring Break

Family stayed for a few days over spring break. Quiet neighborhood and nice small town feel yet close to the city to take advantage of all the things to do in Minneapolis. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Easy check in/out and property manager was very responsive.

This is the place!

Stayed here for a short get away with our four sons ages 7-15. The indoor pool, hot tub, pool tables and arcade games entertained us all! The pool room is an amazing space to hang out in! Just a short distance for us go visit Mall of America and Afton Alps ski resort. It was such a fantastic find for our family!

Great Spot for Family Vacation

My family and I spent a week enjoying all this house had to offer plus the close proximity to the Twin Cities. The big attraction was the indoor pool and it did not disappoint. My kids swam for hours each day and thoroughly enjoyed the diving board, pool toys, and hot tub. The arcade games were an added bonus as well as we played through a handful when taking breaks from the water. Each bedroom and living space had a TV and there were even a couple in the pool area as well to enjoy a movie or listen to music while swimming. It’s only a 30 minute drive to the Mall of America so we were able to easily make a couple trips to take advantage of the amusement park, aquarium, and shopping. We needed to reach out to Tom for assistance a handful of times during our stay but he was very quick to respond and help. Thanks for sharing this home with our family! It was a vacation we won’t forget!

Property managers were excellent and very responsive and helpful. The pool and arcade were definitely the highlight of our get away. Kitchen is nice with lots of countertop space. Pool was very warm and cozy for all ages with lots of pool toys available.

Perfect Family Getaway

We rented this vintage 70s home for a family weekend in early May. Choosing rooms, each with its own distinct character was hard. Relaxing poolside during the spring downpour was easy! With four adult children, four significant others, and two grandbabies, this rental was the perfect space for our family to gather, play games, and hang for the weekend. Things to love: *the Brady Bunchesque feel of the home. I loved the mid century mod furniture and lighting. *the pool/play area. Nobody should ever get bored and phones should rarely be used, as there is so much to do. *all the different spaces. Babies could nap, grandparents could chill, young adults could play, and food could be prepped all without tripping over each other. *golf course. Surprisingly, the boys got a last minute tee time and enjoyed a round while the ladies wine tasted.by the hot tub. *location. It was super easy to get to. Check in was seamless. We were on the deck within minutes of pulling up to the house. *the bed(s). I only slept in one, but it felt like sleeping on clouds. And the bedding smelled amazingly fresh and clean. Things to consider: *the grill is charcoal. We missed that detail and had to run back to the store for charcoal and a lighter. *know and appreciate the age of the house. It is a charming, vintage home. We own a midcentury mod home and love the beauty and quirks that come with the history. Door frames and hallways are slimmer and there are stairs, if accessibility matters.

We liked the property a lot. It offered a lot of options for the price point. The property is dated and amenities like the pool tables/cues are in rough shape, but expect that would be the case with most similar VRBOs. Manager communicated quickly with any questions we had. Would stay here again.

Fantastic place for a gathering!

We hosted a gathering with friends to celebrate a groom-to-be and this property was perfect for it. The amenities are as described and we took full advantage of them all! It was a fun, relaxing weekend hanging with friends - there is plenty to do on the property and the large gathering spaces allowed us to all be together comfortably. The host was very attentive and checked in to make sure everything was OK. I would definitely return!

What a great stay! The house was perfect for our kids and extended family with an indoor pool and old school video games. Owner was very responsive when a hiccup on entry and throughout our stay. Great friends getaway!

What a great experience! The property was as-listed. We went as a group of 40-year olds who wanted an indoor pool and hot tub but to also be able to be together and just be us - it was great.
