The condo is a perfect size for a small family. I loved how cute it was decorated and how it was fully stocked with the private washer and dryer. You absolutely cannot beat the location to the pool and restaurants, it really is a lovely place. Dislikes: We couldn’t park in the parking garage due to having a car topper, so it was a hike to unload and get to the condo with luggage for check in. Also, the bedroom desperately needs a new mattress and pillows. It felt like sleeping in a hole and just very thin and squeaky.

Booked this place for my sons baseball tournament and was hesitant because of distance to park but I am glad I did. The host is very responsive. This place is as described and super convenient to a ton of restaurant options and right next to the pool. If looking for a place in destin/sandestin will def look to rebook.

Very spacious
We had a great time. It was my husband and myself with our 3 children (all under 8) and we had plenty of room. I was especially excited when I saw the bathtub. It was deep and perfect for a soak after the kids laid down and perfect to put the kids into and get all the day washed off. The pool was our favorite. Particularly the lagoon style entrance. My 3yr old was able to comfortably enter and exit. Overall great place to stay!

Disappointing amenities
The condo was spacious and had a nice location on property, but it was not very clean. It felt like the floors and carpets hadn't been cleaned in years. Additionally, there was no hand soap or laundry detergent. Lastly, the check in process and instructions for finding the condo on the Grand Destin property were very confusing. I've just had a lot of better experiences at other owner locations and think this was disappointing.

Beautiful property
The unit was very well decorated. It was nice that the unit was on the first floor and at the end of the building…it creates a nice private court yard. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!!! The only thing I would recommend would be better supply of dish soap. It would also be a plus if the unit would offer umbrella and beach chairs as an option. Overall very Satisfied….Thank You!!!!

My husband and I had such a nice time in this cute condo. Clean, up to date, convenient location and the decor was perfect. We loved making the quick walk to the village for dinner. We were worried pool noise would be too loud but it never bothered us. Only thing to point out is the bedroom doesn’t seem to get good air flow but as long as you keep the door open, it’s not too much of an issue. A fan for the room would be a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back!!

Great Ground Floor Unit Near Pool and Walking Distance toThe Village at Baytowne Wharf
I needed to book a place for my sister and I to stay for a spur of the moment trip for a surprise beach proposal for my daughter. I was a bit stressed about finding anything decent at such short notice but this unit was perfect! the unit was nicely decorated with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We were just steps away from the beautiful pool. I was a little concerned about noise from the pool but we never heard a thing while we were inside. Even sitting outside in our own little yard with a patio it was very quiet and pleasant. The loudest thing we heard were the frogs. It was so nice to be able to park our car and walk a few minutes to all of the shops and restaurants at The Village at Baytowne Wharf. We never had to fight the traffic in Destin. We also had access to the Tram that would take us to the beach. We went to 3 different restaurants and never had to wait for a table because we were right there. It turned out to be a perfect and relaxing sister trip! The only thing I would suggest would be to bring a little fan for the bedroom. It seemed to be a little warmer in the bedroom and there isn't a ceiling fan in there. That was the only negative thing I had seen in the reviews and had planned to bring one but left Texas without it. It wasn't miserable but it would have helped. Overall a great place to stay!

Great remodel but not so great destination
The unit was decorated wonderfully but I have a few gripes. 1. If you have a taller vehicle it will not fit in the designated parking garage. Leaving you to use the parking lot which is a bit of a distance from the building this unit is located it. 2. Bed was very uncomfortable and was also supplied with only 2 thin pillows that left us with some serious neck pain the next morning. 3. Some sort of mold spots in ceiling in bathroom. I really appreciate the host opening their unit to us but for the price we really didn’t find it to be as adequate as we imagined. They did a phenomenal job with the renovation and decorating of the unit. The main issues we had are outside of the hosts control.

We loved our entire vacation to Sandestin Fl. The property was very well maintained and everything was within walking/bike ride distance. EVEN THE BEACH only thing that was wrong with rental was the matress was very dated and way too soft. Actually slept on the couch 2 of the 5 nights. Everything else was good or exceptionally great.
