We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is in a great location, less than 20 minutes from the entrance to Kings Canyon. There is no AT&T reception in the area, or even in the parks, so communication was very difficult for us. People in the area use Verizon.
Li Lovett, the owner, was a REAL JOY to talk to, and very attentive to our needs.
The cabin is rather hard to find. After you turn onto Todd Eymann Road from Highway 245, it is the first driveway on the left. The house number is beside a stump, and it can be difficult to see.
There is a washer and dryer, but the dryer is outside under a tablecloth, and we didn't find it until the night before we left., The fuse box is also outside under the electric meter. The steps to the upstairs are very steep, and are almost like a ladder. You need to bring the food you will need, although there are small markets at the park visitor centers. Also, be sure you have enough gas in your car, because the nearest gas station is over half an hour away.
All in all, we loved the cabin and the area!
