Hyatt Zilara was a huge pleasure! The staff is soooo friendly and helpful. The food was great, even at the buffet! Urban was my favorite restaurant. The pool, the cabanas, the beach, the proximity of everything is perfect!!!!

I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday week here! A handful of the staff were absolutely amazing and made me feel like I had known them forever. The DJ at the pool kept the energy high, and the music was perfect. The swim-up bar staff were fantastic. They do need to address the bee problem in the bar area, as it was a bit distracting. The food was good, but you will need to make dinner reservations at least a day in advance. The rooms could use some updates; the walls needed attention as they were dusty and not as clean as I would like. Having stayed at two other Hyatt resorts in different countries, I was hoping for a few extra touches for my birthday, such as door decorations or a small treat, like champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, which would have made the celebration even more special. Overall, despite a few areas for improvement, I would stay here again!

It wasn’t all bad, but it wasn’t that good

The food was the same every day. I have better Jamaican food in the United States then I had on the resort.. the further you go to the beach, you start losing access to the Internet. To leave off the resort cause way too much money it was only two of us and they wanted $80 there and $80 back that’s $160 US dollars Uber is way more cheaper which I found out the last day that they have Uber there and it is cheaper. No one tells you about Uber. They only tell you to get a driver. The resort is nice, but the rooms definitely need to be upgraded. They charge too much money to have those outdated rooms. And the walls are so thin you can hear the people next-door talking everything there is super expensive. I took pictures for none of my birthday and paid $300 for a package and they airdrop the pictures to me. They didn’t even print out pictures. Yes, they came out nice I truly only want four pictures which they told me would be $25 plus tax for each picture but at the seeing a pictures, we decided to get the package because it would be more cheaper. The jerk chicken is nothing but grilled chicken and you add jerk sauce. They’re not seasoning that chicken with jerk the peas and rice. You can’t even taste the coconut milk in it you have to add a lot of salt to it to get a good taste from it. I’m definitely not looking forward to going back.
The pictures we took the night of my birthday they was nice but $300 for 20 pictures Air drop to your phone was way too much
This is the mini bar that they restock once a day they gave you beer, soda, water & orange juice
This the cabana that I rented $169 is yours from 9am o’clock to 6pm they give you a cooler with water sodas, and a bottle of wine (PROSECCO) I did get a lot of rest
The mud massage 20 minutes or ATV while you go down the river Falls they want $205 per person and the mud massage is only for women so for me and my husband it would be $410 for 20 minutes mud massage 3 hours trips
