Apartment is conveniently located in the Monterosso train station, and sits above the promenade. If you're traveling by train, this is a huge plus. The location does come with train and people noise that starts early and ends late. The bonus is the promenade sits between you and the sea. The apartment is average. It has a lots of white furniture and cold marble flooring. Broken window hardware, mold in tub, and broken shower during our visit (not ideal after hiking and walking all day, every day). Was not about to bathe in a moldy tub. We were offered 100 euro refund (which still has not been received) for our shower issue which is a bit disappointing considering four un-showered people together for four days. Apartment is advertised as a three bedroom. It's really a two bedroom with a pullout sofa in a third room. This room sits in the back of the unit closest to the train station and is much noisier and warmer than the front rooms. A heads up for families or groups, apartment is advertised as sleeps six, which it could, but pricing is based on two and there are additional fees for additional people. Sadly, being this VRBO listing is run by a business and not a homeowner, it felt more like a business transaction than a warm, caring experience.
