The hotel is clean and breakfast was good.but it needs upgrades.Black spots in the caulk in shower.Shower shelf messing and the adhesive was left in shower

I have stayed at this particular property several times and this was the first time that it was not up to par, the receptionist stated that they were under renovation and they were working on the 3rd floor and from my past stays the first and second had already been renovated. It was in better shape before they started. The skirting around the beds were dirty, chairs stained and dirty, the floors dirty, I even had to ask housekeeping for a broom to sweep up the floor. The tables still had sticky stuff on them and my other room had hair in the bed and a bug had gotten in my food.
