The valet was so punctual and very helpful!!!! I lived my room!!!! Loved the decor and the shower 🚿!!! The desk lamp had a dimmer so it was a perfect night light. There’s worked perfectly. I never had to wait long. The Fri t desk girl was very helpful as well with person requests! 5 starts !

Just an OK visit

This was our second stay at the Hotel Morgan. The Pros - location. It's a great walkable site. Restaurants, stores and the PRT and WVU main campus are all nearby. The bar is now open! woo-hoo. It was not open during our last visit. This made for a livelier lobby area. Friendly staff. Cons - Expensive valet. I called in advance and was told that parking was $15 a night. When we got their valet was $20 a night. You are expected to tip every time you need your car. This can get expensive. Our room was not dirty but also not spotless. The hotel has a no-pet policy - yet a woman on our floor had a younger dog, and it made a mess right outside of the elevator - it was there for hours, and I had to let management know about it. Gross and careless pet owner. However, why was there a dog in the hotel? Water in the fridge in our room - nice - until I saw the $7!! price tag. Come on, Hotel Morgan - do better.

Okay hotel, would stay again for price.

Beautiful hotel, gives vintage feelings. Beautiful bar and dinning area. Valet parking from 7am to about 9-10 pm. For $20 plus tip. I wish they had a parking lot closer incase you forget something in the car. Parking lot is across the street. Bed was a little firmer than I’d prefer and the shower door wouldn’t stay shut for nothing! Bathroom door is a bit heavy. And around the shower didn’t look the cleanest. Over all for the price and closeness to ruby I would stay again. I just brought Lysol with me and cleaned everything myself as I do every hotel. Recommend doing that yourself as well.

Solo Trip to Spend Time with my WVU Student.

I was in the small-sized king room but it was perfect for me and would be ideal for a couple. Very roomy setup with bed, lounge chair, desk, etc. Ample storage. The bathroom was impeccably clean. Valet worked fairly well. The actual valet was probably the hardest working person - - running back and forth. I was impressed. The app makes requesting your car very simple. They ran out of cream for the coffee Sunday by 9:30 which was odd. But the front desk found me some soy milk that saved the day (and my sanity). Great location across from Iron Horse Tavern with a Sheetz/Starbucks drivethru just around the corner and very convenient when coming/going.

Classy and clean but in need of better service

Waited on a Saturday night at 8pm for five minutes at the desk. When the girl finally came out to check me in, she had an earbud in and seemed uninterested in checking me in. Her friends (I assume ) walked in during my check in and all of her attention went to greeting and talking to them. The room was great, except for it was the wrong room. I booked a king and wound up with a double queen. I was not informed of the change at check in. When I asked about changing it, I was told they were booked up but that she could see about getting me a discount. I have not seen any change in my rate as of yet.

The hotel was great. Clean and unique. If I had to have a complaint was that parking was a bit of a hassle if you didn't do valet which we did. I would stay again.
