I usually stay in hotels on vacation, but wanted to try something out of my comfort zone for my trip to the Everglades. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying on this comfortable, cozy, clean, and well-stocked boat which was plenty of room for 4 adults. Tia and Chris went the extra mile to make sure our stay was special. Chris greeted us at the entrance of the marina to guide us to the boat and gave us a very thorough orientation. It was nice sipping morning coffee on the deck while watching gators parade down the canal, and my daughter enjoyed a little fishing off the deck. The boat is located in a great spot close to the parking lot, and in walking distance to the hotel with a restaurant(The Angler's Cove) which has great food(and service) that is reasonably priced. After a day-long fishing trip in the Big Cypress National Preserve, we came back to the boat and cleaned our fish at the handy, nearby marina fish cleaning station. Our cleaned catch was stored in the nice- sized refrigerator on the boat . We watched football and baseball on one of several of the televisions on board. Showers were on the smaller size than I am used to, (but it's a boat ,after all), and they were very clean with nice towels and toiletries supplied. The king -sized bed in the larger bedroom was very comfortable and the bunk beds in the other bedroom were a good size and readily accommodated 2 adults. We had one minor issue with the toilets on day one, but Chris came immediately to fix them(no fault of theirs) and we had no further issues. All in all, I wish we had booked this boat for a longer stay...great location, great accommodations, and great hosts! I hope to return here on my next Everglades vacation.
