This was perfect for our stay!
Us: 2 adults one teen, 4 days from out of town with rental car.
PROS: Restaurants and shopping right outside your door, SPACIOUS unit, parking was VERY convenient! You’re right in The Gulch! We used the pool and it was bigger and nicer/quieter than some hotels we had looked at. Full kitchen, laundry in unit, two full baths. Great amenities.
CONS: (they are minor, but a couple *tweaks* would be nice) LIGHT through windows—yup, can see shadows from objects in unit at night with the blinds drawn. We read reviews and brought sleep masks, so wasn’t an issue for us. Yes, there is a freight train line across from the unit, but you really don’t notice it when trains are running. Pretty quiet. NO BUREAUS. Huge closet with hangars, but I like to store things in drawers instead of rummaging through suitcase for everything. A small bureau in each bedroom would be a big asset. NO HOOKS IN BATHROOM. The info says not to hang towels over shower rod….but there’s no option besides the floor. One hook next to shower would be superb. Again, these are minor issues overall, but would increase the unit comfort considerably. Are you dog friendly? You should be…lots of unit owners with dogs, so there’s some doggo hair in elevators—and dogs themselves—if you’re super allergic it might be good to know. Cleaning crews regularly sweep and mop, but there’s still dog hair and dog encounters. FYI.
