Standard hotel stay

It was a nice hotel but pretty standard. I thought it was weird to charge for the breakfast that was literally like every free continental breakfast I have ever been to. I was expecting more for having to pay for it. But overall it wasn't bad. It was clean and our room was a good size. The staff were also friendly.

Overall it was ok for a short stay. Staff is extremely nice and very helpful. The room I was in was mehhh. Paint peeling, dirty shower, EXTREMELY COLD and the thermostat didn’t really go hot/cold.

Avoid! Parking is Outrageous!

It was ok…nothing special. Don’t make my mistake and read the parking fees below! It is $18 to park in an open parking lot. $18! Per night! I missed it when booking the room but was not told about it when checking in. The view of the room was a roof! The place is outdated and there are plenty of other hotels that are nicer. I will be staying in the Franklin area or Mt. Juliet area next time and will probably be a Marriott chain hotel. Avoid this place!

Very convenient to opryland. Room was very clean and big. Only thing is fan in bathroom didn’t work and the ceiling was messed up in shower. Have to pay for buffet breakfast and they do have a bar/restaurant. Would like a like a little more lighting in parking lot. You do have to pay for parking. Would definitely stay again!

The staff acted like since we booked through a third party they we were nothing. Told us they could switch our rooms around. And would t allow us to do a late check out. We called to request something from the front desk they made us come down and get it ourselves. We will never go back again. We paid money to be treated like they didn’t want us there. Don’t offer it on the site then.

Good hotel near airport

We really like this Double Tree Hotel and have stayed in it several times. Mainly because it has a separate living area from the bedroom. The room rate was reasonable, but, you have to pay an additional $16 a day for parking not included with thr price of the room. Our room had some serious cleaning needs. There was a huge stain in the sofa and a few big black spots on the carpet. Also, the toilet flusher needs repairing. There was plenty of hot water in the morning to take a shower but only luke warm water every night. I love that they had a Nativity scence in the lobby for Christmas. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the Opry Mills mall and Gaylord Convention center.
