We adored the quaint charm of this lovely 1930s built bungalow. The hosts were wonderfully communicative. Being former VRBO owners ourselves, we know the extra effort it takes to truly make a property feel like home, and their effort is deeply appreciated.
The property is located very close to downtown Franklin, a mere few minute, walk to the main two circles. We hosted Thanksgiving for our family of 4+2 additional family members. There were ample rooms for privacy for all. No lack of hot water, place settings, or diversions for guests of all ages. The hosts ensure that there are games, puzzles, electronics, books and smart TVs that may be enjoyed by all. An additional touch, the coffee bar is stellar. Not knowing whether or not the kitchen would be appropriately stocked to host such a daring meal, The only thing I wish I had was a knife sharpener and a meat thermometer.
Understand that the stone building is nearly 100 years old. Tastefully, decorated and renovated, the floors are a little creaky and modern amenities took creative efforts to install, but this does not take anything away from the property.
The home straddles a gentrified section of Franklin. We felt very secure with the police department down the street any fenced in yard that our dog spent hours exploring.
The photos are true to the home's condition.
Should her family ever need a VRBO in the future, we would absolutely return.
