We stayed 3 nights. This particular unit is the size of a small hotel room, and is clean and comfortable. This is a great place to stay unless you are wanting to be close to downtown (we didn't).
The neighborhood felt very safe and was quiet, we walked to the grocery store and to the beach (each less than 15min walk). Getting downtown will require a bus ride or taxi. Know that the busses may take a while and sometimes traffic is heavy so even taxis will take a while.
The host will provide you with contact information for a particular driver, Lawrence, who is great. During our stay we used Lawrence multiple times to get around. We also rode the bus and caught a few other taxis in various locations.
We heard from some nearby neighbors that they had trouble getting a taxi to come pick them up - if you can, schedule ahead (Lawrence was always willing to work with our schedule).
To get most places from here will cost you $25 - $30 (before tip) to taxi so be prepared. The bus is only $1.25 per person and runs all the way downtown. If you rent a vehicle, the parking here is more than sufficient.
Overall a great place to stay.
