Wow, We loved this cabin. It had everything we needed and then some. The beds were comfy, the screened porch and the hot tub were our favorite. More than plenty towels and the bathrobes were a nice touch! The kitchen was top notch and had all we needed for spices and utensils. We enjoyed food from Park Rapids and should have done that the first night as we had many leftovers. I love that Melalueca products were used through out the house. That made me feel quite at home. The water did not smell and tasted better than the bottled water I brought! The yeti cups were loved for the coffee on the porch, on the dock or in the hot-tub. It kept our coffee steaming. We heard and saw a Loon morning and night. I saw a baby fawn running through the yard, heard all kinds of birds every morning. We saw a small walleye, a decent catfish, a baby trout, lots of bluegill, and some perch from the dock. The highlight was the snapping turtle we saw the night before in the water had come ashore and was laying eggs on the beach straight down from the hot-tub. I spied her while headed to the dock to breathe in one last breath of fresh air before heading back home. I watched and had a good 4.5 min video of her laying about 6 eggs. (I’m not sure how many were laid before we happened upon her.) Then she covered them up “quite amazingly well” and then walked back in to the water. Came over toward the dock, popped up to look at us then swam off. I certainly want to come back!
