Property was absolutely beautiful! The river is accessible and wonderful to sit and somply relax. Make sure you get all necessities before arriving. It is a bit of a jaunt to get back to a local grocery store.

Great location off of the river. Access to kayaks and paddle boards was awesome. The house rocked when adults walked around, little unsettling. House was nice and clean. Property needs a little TLC, but we would recommend the rental for small groups.

Wonderful
This house was so cute, comfy beds and nice showers. The house is right on the river and it was a great spot to hangout with the smaller kids. We all took advantage of the paddle board, kayaks and the large water Lilly pad all weekend! Only note is that the stairs are quite steep both inside and outside but the indoor stairs are more than I expected which resulted in more than a few trips and stubbed toes. No big deal for me but for some seniors or those with very small children it may be more of an issue. Overall the house was spotless and the linens smelled fantastic. There were lots of spider webs on the exterior decking and stairs but no real issues with actual spiders. Overall a wonderful weekend and we would absolutely love to stay at this property again some time in the future. 5 stars for sure!

Great Family Time
We came to this property to spend some much needed family time after being split up all summer with athletic events all over the states. Our two teens each brought a friend and we were able to relax as much as we needed. The home is serene and peaceful. The river was refreshing and we used the lilly pad, water swing, and just enjoyed hanging out in the water. We dropped the teans at Schlitterbaun one day, went to Gruene Hall and took swing dancing lessons one day, floated the river another day. It was nice to be able to come back to the house and have peace and quiet. The house had a good amount of supplies like towels, including a few beach towels. We very much enjoyed our stay, thank you!!

Fabulous Fam Getaway
My Fam and I had a fantastic time on this property. My grandchildren had so much fun utilizing the on-site kayaks, paddle board and Lilly pad ! Actually, I think us adults used it more than the kiddos! Perfect location with abundant amenities, beautiful lush yard along with waterfront access. The house was quiet comfy for all also.

Great place to relax in the water
This house is a really great place to sit in the water and relax. It is shallow enough to put your chairs in and sit back. The house is very clean. Stairs can be a bit tricky for the little ones or older folks. There are 2 bedrooms with a very comfortable bed in each, and a bedroom for the kiddos and comfy couches. Everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Amazing riverfront paradise!
This property was absolutely the best place we’ve have had the pleasure of staying at! It was clean and cozy and private. It has a beautiful view of the river and the owner provides kayaks and games and everything you could ask for to keep the kids entertained. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. The owner was quick to answer questions as well. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Great getaway with all of the amenities!
Really enjoyed our getaway with two adults and four older teens. With last minute changes due to the pandemic, the host was very helpful with suggestions. The house had everything. It ended up being a blessing that our plans changed and we were “stuck at the house”. We used all of the “toys” and enjoyed the shade, hammocks, river and fire pit. Thank you for sharing your perfect home on the river.

The house and location were perfect. Very clean , fully equipped kitchen , even a Keurig. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 Kayaks and paddle board and spent most of our time outdoors as the property is gorgeous! Will 100% stay again!

Great Family Getaway
My parents, my family, and my brother’s family met at this adorable house on the river. We live in Lubbock and everyone else lives in San Antonio, so we were really looking forward to this time together. This spot did not disappoint! We used almost every amenity. We grilled, we floated, we paddled, we played with the lawn games, we slept in the hammock swings, and enjoyed our coffee on the deck. We chose the house for its access to the water and stayed in the water as much as possible. The beds are comfortable and the teenagers enjoyed the smart TV and WiFi. Our daughter is 9 yrs old, so she enjoyed the shallow water of the river right by the house. My parents struggled with all the stairs leading up to the house. Just something to keep in mind if there are older people in your group. We had a great stay and can’t wait to go back!!

House was perfect for our family of 5. Large living room and kitchen table, comfortable beds, nice decks, awesome yard and beautiful river views. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board and fire pit, too. Short 30 min drive to the Horseshoe tubing area, and 20 min to historic Gruene.
