Good, but could be great

Great location, the staff is friendly, and the courtyard is nice. It suffers from what most hotels do which is attention to detail. Why is a $10 showerhead being used? Why is there one nightstand by the bed, not two? Why does every door need WD40? The breakfast is good, but the way it is set up is kind of awkward. I needed to stay another day and the young lady at the front desk told me to "go online and book another room"...you mean I can't do that at the front desk??? I would consider staying here again, but it may not be my first choice.

New Orleans Road Trip

Have always wanted to visit New Orleans. Have to say it was way above my expectations. we had a queen suite, next time I would get a king bed. kitchen was great for us as we traveled with our dog. Breakfast was typical and after a day or so we just made our own coffee and toast. Loved the suite portion of this as I could sleep in. This was also a great location, WWII museum a block away. Uptown parade only a 4 block walk. Everyone here was very friendly and helpful. Parking however is a joke. I get it the hotel does not have space but the city parking is outrageous. the lot the hotel recommends has a cheap 24 hour teaser rate, after that it gets jacked up to about 3 times that rate. there really isn't anything you can do. we opted with valet for $45 per night.

2nd time around

This stay my room showed signs of aging. Outlets were broken, when I plugged my devices in the plug would fall out, I plugged in the iron and it steamed up to let me know that it was on but then I began seeing rust water spots on my clothes, which meant the iron came unplugged. Bed mattress was very worn compared to the bed I had during my previous stay. Breakfast was enjoyable as usual! Oatmeal, fruit, peanut butter, & hot coffee

Amazing stay, amazing breakfast!! Great rooms, very neat and well painted, decorated. Pretty new aesthetics and style for the bathrooms. Me and my wife loved our stay. Wish we had the opportunity of more nights in. Quick travel, great sleep!

This is not my first time staying here. With the exception of this trip I would rave about this location but not this time. I did not like the room. The front door as damaged and had very sharp pieces of splinted wood. If there was a child with me I would have been concerned about them getting cut. Also, the sink area had not been cleaned. At first, I thought it was a design on the tile until I rubbed a cloth and the design disappeared. The floor was not cleaned appropriately. Because of scheduling, it was easier to lay towels all over the place than to request a change. I like the hotel, but not this time.

Plain But Good

Hotel is plain but good, no other way to say it, esp in a city where numerous unique and beautiful hotels are their competition. Good location, walkable to many sights. They had sent me an email asking me if a wanted to pay a small fee they'd put us on a higher floor, away from the noise. When I asked at the desk at check-in, they didn't know what I was talking about & had no higher floor.

Can’t Complain

As I am trying to cleans myself of meat products the breakfast gives me that option with oatmeal and fruit. I wish the milk and yogurt had nut options. I didn’t cook this trip as I was just extremely overworked and tired, but the kitchen and dishes were clean to both the eye sight and touch. Finally, the only other thing that I would suggest is a ventilation system to get the previous guest food, marijuana, or body odor out of the room!!
