The staff were the best thing about this property. They were friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, but the public area out front was concerning (the homeless sleeping on benches out front is one thing, but people selling weed was another). The elevator situation is extremely frustrating. The hotel did not have water when we arrived, and after several hours, given that along with the other issues we were having with the property, we decided to check out and stay elsewhere.

Customer service is great. Very helpful worker. They clean the room everyday. Very accommodating. Overall service and staying is great. Only I didn’t like it’s a lot of homeless sleeping and staying outside in front of the hotel during the day.

The staff was helpful and welcoming, I decided to stay and extra night and they made it very quick and convenient to book the extra night and stay in the same room. Location is near transportation, restaurants and stores, will definitely recommend.

We booked three nights at this hotel. The first night was fine. On the second morning, there was no hot water in the room. We were informed that they were having boiler problems and we would have to take a cold shower. On the third morning there was NO water in the room. Again, we were informed that they had to turn the water off so they could work on the boiler. Fortunately, we had a bottle of water so we could brush our teeth and put contact lenses in. We were told that the last night would be refunded but are still waiting for the refund. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Not bad for the price
Once I got past the gross courtyard and tiny lobby, I was surprised to find a really nice immaculate little room. Small, compact, mattress wasn’t great but perfect for the busy traveler in NYC. The area is perfectly located to walk everywhere but can be a little sketchy- especially at night- so be a bit careful. Come on people - it’s a Holiday Inn! Overall, not bad for the price. Note: Only 2 elevators for 32 stories so during rush hours I’m sure you’d have to wait a while.

REFUND ME
I wanted to share some concerns about my recent stay at your hotel. 1. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and dismissive when we asked about airport transportation, making us feel uncomfortable. 2. The luggage hold staff was unaccommodating and gave us judgmental looks when we handed over an extra bag and flowers. 3. As a first-time hotel guest, I wasn’t informed that housekeeping would enter our room. I left $150 in my makeup bag, and after returning to a cleaned room, I noticed the 20 dollars money was missing. This felt like a breach of trust. 4. The hotel’s surroundings felt unsafe due to the presence of intoxicated individuals and homeless people. I hope these issues can be addressed to improve future guest experiences. Thank you for your attention.

We didn’t have any hot water for two days. Yet the price of the room was not modified. The staff during the day at the front desk was extremely rude and not accommodating. The gentleman at night was a doll but there wasn’t much he could do. It was a horrible experience to be in town for two days and unable to bathe!
