Highly recommend.

This hotel is in a great location close to Grand Central to get to the museums and walking distance to shopping and Times Square. The staff was so nice and very helpful from check in to the cleaning staff. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect. I love staying here unfortunately it can be on the higher price side. Always glad when I can stay here at an economical price.

One of the best appointed rooms we've stayed in, in NYC. Regular and USB outlets everywhere, plenty of lighting options, large bathroom with a good amount of surface area/storage space around the sink. Plenty of clothing storage. I even worked from our hotel room one day and the desk set up was great. Bed was also very comfortable. And super convenient location (near a Starbucks, Prete a Manger, Zuckers Bagels, and Park Ave. Tavern....made our visit extremely pleasant. We plan to come back!

Everything was great. Nice sized room. Decor has character. Good value. Perfect location for midtown business and outings. I was surprised there was only one pitcher of coffee in the morning on a narrow counter that only one person at a time could access. People had to line up. Just seemed slightly awkward.

Negatives. Fridge and air con noisy. Bedside light didn’t work for 2 days even though it was reported. No evening restaurant or bar. Positive Was able to check in early. Comfortable bed. Free water every day. Great location for Grand Central and walkable distance from Times Square.

Valentine’s Day experience

We stayed in the King Suite for Valentine’s Day. I loved the decor and was very happy upon entering the room. After settling down and touring the rooms, I noticed the couch had a huge stain on it, kept looking around and the window frames & seals had dust on them — windows water stained, cobwebs in the corners of the room. There was one door I tried to open & the door knob just ripped right off as soon as I went to turn it. Worst of all, there were stains on literally every one of the bath towels. I think the most annoying part for me though was not having any coffee in the room for the “King” suite. The bed was comfy though & I slept well, the bar is nice & they have really creative-tasty cocktails that you should partake if you choose to stay here.
