This rental is great for a one-night stay, especially if you’re attending an event at the Prudential Center since it’s within walking distance.
However, my week-long stay was disappointing. Upon arrival, I had to request the check-in instructions, which hadn’t been sent. The apartment initially appeared spacious and clean, but several issues soon became apparent. The fire alarm beeped intermittently throughout my stay, including during the night, disrupting sleep.
A key fob, promised for easier building access, was missing, so I had to manually enter a code each time, which alerted the owner with a photo of my entry. While the nearby police station offered some peace of mind, the area felt unsafe at night due to people checking parked cars.
Noise was a major problem. Early morning traffic and thin walls made it feel like the windows were open, with sounds of conversations and footsteps clearly audible from neighboring units.
The apartment also had maintenance issues: water damage on the ceiling, broken blind cords, uncomfortable bedding, a slanted floor that affected the closet door, and an uncomfortable couch. The bathroom’s partial glass panel caused water to spill onto the floor during showers, and a musty smell lingered despite the use of a scented plug-in.
Overall, while the photos made the place look appealing, the reality fell short. It might be fine for a short stay, but it’s not suitable for longer visits.
