Sweet retreat
Plovers Nest was a great place to stay. The space is very small, but stocked with the essentials. Comfortable bed- stayed during winter but could imagine that the decks and access to the water in the summer would be idyllic.

Perfect little New England cottage
Plovers nest is a great little getaway cottage for a couple. The property was very well designed, and makes great use of all the space available. The location is great for anyone interested in exploring the coast, Newburyport, Boston, or any of the numerous surrounding small towns. The hosts are very organized, and provided an extensive welcome message, with tons if info about the property, as well as the surrounding area. The property is beautiful, clean, extremely well maintained. We would love to book again next time we are in the area.

Short stay by the shore
Plover’s Nest was a true delight. The cottage is charming, modern, clean, and well appointed in a desirable area very close to the beach and downtown Newburyport’s restaurants, bars, and shops. The cottage itself was so cute that we didn’t want to leave to venture out. We look forward to returning to Plover’s Nest.

Wonderful bungalow
Loved this place. Great location and it was a very quiet space (though I did go and off-season at the beginning of May). Stove and microwave took some getting used to, and I didn’t use the oven, but the kitchen was great. It’s a small space, and the loft is open to the living area so it’s best for a couple that goes to bed at the same time or someone traveling solo. Wish they had a fire pit, but the space was great.

Paradise on Plum Island!
Everything about our August 1-6th stay at lovely “Plover’s Nest” was perfect! The home was gorgeously decorated, super-clean, and filled with all amenities we could possibly need! The loft bedroom welcomed both the sunrise and the sunset—so beautiful! The home was cozy, and yet spacious, for the 2 of us on a romantic getaway. We enjoyed the location as an ideal base for area exploration to the Plum Island beach, the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge at the other end of the island, and the lovely downtown Newburyport (great restaurants, shops, walkways along the water). We hope to return! Thank you for a great stay!

Just perfect
This stay was just the right thing for a short getaway with my husband. It was very clean. The house is beautifully laid out. (But definitely most comfortable as a two person rental) All the windows are a wonderful touch. The sea breeze was amazing. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. My husband ranks it at the top of our vacation rentals. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Stay at Plover's Nest
Clean and cozy stay at Plover's Nest on Plum Island. This was just a short staycation for us and the house was exactly as listed and even better than the photos. One minor note, the fireplace has limited use because of the placement near a soundbar. It's worth noting because a lot of people expect unlimited use of a fireplace, with no time restrictions, if it's listed as an amenity. But let me continue with how great our stay was. The iTrip team was very communicative and helpful. We had a minor issue with our coffeemaker and they stopped by to replace it in the same day. I was not expecting that level of service, but it was greatly appreciated it. You can tell they really care about guest experience. Plover's Nest was spotless and I'm not just saying that. Their attention to detail and providing a well stocked house was noticed. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful home away from home
We absolutely loved spending the week at Plovers Nest. From the moment we opened the door we were impressed. The purposed for our stay was my husband had to work in town and since I work from home instead of him driving 2 hours each way we wanted to find a place I could work from and he would have a quick commute. Plovers Nest exceeded our expectation! We had everything we needed to make dinners at home each night and I had no problem working from the house due to the great internet and the desk with ample power outlets. The view from the workspace at sunrise and sunset were unbeatable. This host really thought of every detail and loved the detail of labeling and instructions. We wanted to spend another week, but due to it already being booked (not surprisingly) we were not able to. Thank you for a great experience and a mini unexpected staycation. It truly felt like a home away from home.

november vacation on plumb iskand
spent 4 days in late november with my wife in plover's nest. it's small, but cheerful and comfortable. we never felt cramped, and found everything we needed. the location is great. you can stroll on the beaches of plum island for miles, but newburyport is just a few minutes drive away. the hosts are welcoming and responsive.

Quaint little seaport house
We instantly fell in love with this airbb. Situated in a quiet little seaport town with plenty of amenities very close by. So happy we found this little gem. It was perfect for staying in if your looking to visit near by Salem. Only a 40 min drive. Uber also services the area. Or you can hop the near by train to visit Salem or Boston. Definitely be visiting again in the near future
