Fun beach stay!
The property is very nice and the location is great! You can easily walk to the beach. You can play volleyball - they have lots of toys and chairs/surfboards. It’s nice that there is a washer/dryer with complimentary detergent and everything you could need when traveling out of town. We had an issue with accessing the garage. The owners said they would address It. Other than that It was a great stay for the room sizes/amount of beds. Thank you!

There positives and negatives. Positives were plenty of towels and beach towels, lots or beach chairs and toys to use, parking easy because of garage, and communication with host beforehand was easy. Unit has been updated recently. But there some big negatives. The house is in serious need of repainting, the walls were so dirty. The bed skirt in my son’s room had yellow spots on it. The curtains in the master bedroom had brown spots on them. The second to last day we were looking under my son’s bed for something and found trash under the bed. Also only three rolls of toilet paper were provided for a family of five for five days. I would not stay here again.

Nice Newport Home
Overall a great stay! Nice home that looks just like the pictures. Super short walk to the beach. You’re a little further away from the stores and restaurants. There were plenty of beach chairs which was great. I would stay here again. Only knock is they barely provide any toilet paper and do not provide extra trash bags. It’s a small trash can and we had a large group. We had to make additional trips to the store to get those as you don’t know you need them until you run out. Was a bit of an eye roll. Overall was a great stay. Had an issue with a ceiling fan and they had it fixed within 36 hours and were responsive.

Location is great to the beach, Disney and LA. Parking was tight and confusing as to which side of the garage was ours. Top floor gets the left side BTW. Get to the garage from the alley. Had an issue with the dish washer and it was fixed the same day. 👍 The beach chairs and toys were super helpful.

Great spot
The property was very functional and great for our need, which was to be a home base near San Diego and southern LA. We enjoyed being a block from the beach and less than a mile from the Newport Beach shops and all of the needed amenities. The only item I’d point out is that a smaller rental car if possible would be ideal as the garage is shared with the 1st floor neighbor.

AWESOME!!!!!
I am so happy with our stay. The place was perfect for us, lots of beds. Kind of dirty but it's a beach house so we expected it to be a bit worn. So close to the beach, great weather, super close to donuts, fast food and drinks. We made the best memories and this specific place was so reasonably priced for how close it was. They also had boogie boards, chairs, sand toys for the kids and the garage all right there for us.

Amazing house close to the beach
We had such a wonderful time staying at this property. It has an ocean view from the balcony. The upper unit is a comfortable 4 bedroom apartment with a large family room, dining room and 2 bathrooms. There are beach lounge chairs and toys in the garage. Garage itself had plenty of room for our SUV. There is an outside shower to remove sand from your body after coming back from the beach - very useful. It was easy to deal with the property management. We had no issues - just great memories. It’s a 1 minute walk from hot beach.

Great Vacation ....
Good location, easy checkin, clean, nice kitchen, spacious rooms, car parking and tesla charging available, our family - just blast, very good time...lot of good restaurant walking distance, walk to beach, 20th street - walk - good restaurants, biking , kayaking, boating etc. Lido is a nice place to go, walk on beach, surf, nice perfect beach....very spacious...our family have excellant vacation, will visit again. Need improvement like one of the bed is not firm - need to be upgraded and also AC was not cooling the room enough in day time.

Beautiful property houses away from the beach!
It was such a beautiful unit for our weekend getaway!! We were just a few houses from the beach- not a busy beach either! The only issues were finding parking nearby for our 2nd car, and then the lights in the unit seem to all be connected. So if you turn the fan or lights on or off in one room, it does it in the other rooms as well. It cause for some scared in the middle of the night when the downstairs tenants were turning on lights! Overall an amazing stay!

Overall good stay based on location but definitely room for improvements
We were a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) that stayed here mid March. Pros: - Proximity to the beach (3 min walk down the street) - made it so easy with the little ones. There are lots of sand toys available in the garage as well as a couple of coolers and several beach chairs. (Not listed under amenities so it would have been nice to know in advance - I almost ordered some sand toys to bring) - Spacious, airy - space is roomy and everyone was able to spread out comfortably in their own space/rooms. So nice to have the outdoor patio table with views of the ocean. Cons: - PARKING. Listing says 1 space available but it is a TINY garage and you are expected to share with the downstairs unit which is pretty much impossible unless you are both driving minicoopers. We ended up having to trade off the garage space with the downstairs renters - street park for half of our time there and garage the other half. That was probably the biggest nuisance - weekend street parking meant having to circle around a ton and park several (6-8) blocks away. - Responsiveness - I emailed a week prior to ask if it would be possible to have a pack and play there (since the listing mentioned a high chair); I messaged a couple of times and got zero response. However, when we arrived there was a pack and play (but no high chair as promised). We made due but that was a bit annoying that the listing listed a high chair as amenity that wasn't available. The pack and play was a great help though, wish I knew about it in advance so I didn't have to stress as much about where the baby would sleep. - Cleanliness - floors could definitely use a steam mop after every rental or something. Our baby's hands and feet were black from the floors. Otherwise everything was fairly clean. - The TV remote was missing for us (during March Madness - not cool) so we ended up calling and someone came and brought a new remote. Other remotes and a ceiling fan weren't working and he also brought batteries. - Leak - one of the canned lights in the master bedroom was leaking a lot during the rain while we were there. Not a huge deal for us but did wake us up in the middle of the night. - The rental was decently stocked but it would have been nice to have some basic things like lotion, kleenex, a colander in the kitchen, and hooks for towels in the hall bathroom.

Great location, but lacking some things.
Not even 5 minutes of our 1 year old crawling in this house and his hands and knees were BLACK. I would have expected for the price we paid to have had some clean floors, especially when they ask you to remove your shoes in the house (this is probably only so it’s not so loud for the neighbors below). The fan / light remotes will turn on and off lights in whatever room it pleases since they aren’t linked to the specific room. The TV also has a mind of its own and will shut off randomly. For the price we paid we would have expected a little more than just location but cleanliness and amenities as well. Hopefully property management will put some funds back into this house.

The property is amazing. It is clean, comfortable beds, and a great location. You can see the ocean from the balcony, the kitchen is great. The grill is nice to have. It is one of my favorite vacation rentals in the area.
