We were in Room 205 and the suite was very nice. However, the saddle on the entrance door was very worn and allowed a rush of air to enter the suite. Could be a minor fix.

Hopefully a fluke!!!
My sheets where dirty and toilet paper holder broken. I was moved to a different room after 8p. New room wasn't as comfortable. Relaxed in room next and my only full day. Not contacted about moving back. Asked at desk early evening, then received key to new room. I enjoy view and relaxing in room. I will check bed thoroughly next visit.

Nice location, a bit away from downtown but still an easy drive. We rented two rooms. Both TVs didn’t work properly, we called the front desk multiple times to be told it “probably” wasn’t the right controller but that they didn’t have another one. One of the beds was soaked upon our arrival, but no leak overhead. I believe the sheets were put on in a rush, they did come with new bedding. The sound proofing is non-existent, you can hear everything, especially the doors opening and closing (there are many corridors and exit stairs with heavy doors and constant movement. One room was blasting either the TV or radio close to 2am, we made calls to the front desk to complain with no response. I would not stay here again, although I’d love to return to Newport.

Nice place to stay. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean. Beautiful views of 1st beach. Over the past couple years, this has been our go to hotel when we come to visit RI. Stayed here 5/6 times in the past couple years and it’s been very consistent.

I recently stayed at the Atlantic Beach Hotel in Newport, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness at this property. The rooms were spotless, with fresh linens and a well-maintained bathroom that made me feel right at home. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, with cozy bedding that ensured a restful night's sleep. I was really comfortable there. The heat worked well. The staff was friendly, and the location is ideal for exploring all that Newport has to offer. The hotel is so close to the Breakers and other mansions. The decorations are amazing during Christmas days at the Mansions. I highly recommend the Atlantic Beach Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in this beautiful seaside town.

Good hotel for the price. But won’t book again.
It’s a nice hotel. The location is great easy drive to almost anywhere you want to go. The beds were super comfy, and the room appeared clean though outdated. What we didn’t love was how loud it was. You could hear doors being slammed, people running in the halls, and the stairwell next to our room. We also didn’t love the lack of security. As the stairwell is accessible to the outside and is not locked. Anyway can just come in and access any of the floors from it.

The hotel is good, but they allow just one car in their parking lot, so if my husband is meeting me there he can't park, and anyone from outside can just take the elevator and access your room without any security. The elevator access door is open to any person and it is nobody by that entrance so any drunk person walking on the street can get inside the building without any supervision

I stayed here in December so it was off season. Absolutely worth the price for the stay. The staff was great, the pool was good- a little run down but good. Everything was clean! The location is wonderful! This was the perfect location to stay at to walk across the street to the beach or take a quick 10 min drive to the wharf. I’d recommend for sure!
