My wife and I, along with 2 friends stayed a week at the Cedar House. The house is very comfortable and literally just steps from Niagara-on-the-Lakeâs historic downtown. In addition, itâs also located just 1 1/2 blocks from the oldest golf course in North America (celebrating 150 years this year) and Lake Ontario. Perhaps the only downside to the house is the upstairs bath/shower. Although the antique claw foot tub was cute, the shower enclosure made showering less than desirable. Enough so, that our friends ended up showering in the downstairs shower. Even with this inconvenience, all 4 of us would definitely stay at the Cedar House again!
Nice house with plenty of room and well equip. Clean and comfortable. The best part was the location. Literally a few steps away from Queen St with lots of restaurants and shopping and the Play House. The Grocery store a two minute walk. Just a perfect location.
An absolutely charming cottage right around the corner from the Main Street - we were able to walk to our biz meetings at the Prince of Wales and enjoy the shops, restaurants & beautiful flowers along the way and the park is just stunning!
Had a relaxing weekend with fun activities on our doorstep. Could walk or bike ride to most activities. Lovely beds and linen, hot showers and easy to cook in kitchen.
We had a great stay. The house is very cozy, and a quiet retreat with the shops of Queen st just around the corner. We loved it and would definitely stay again. If I could give the cleanliness six stars I would.
We had an amazing long weekend in Niagara on the Lake. The house was perfect. A+ location. Very clean, beds and pillows were great. Exactly as presented on VRBO. Thank you
This was a very cute house 3 bedroom, 2&1/2 bath- the location was just steps from Queen Street at the start of the shopping district, itâs also about 2 blocks from the water. Itâs a very walkable area- flat with sidewalks and we were grateful that parking came with the house and we didnât have to worry about finding a place to park. NOLwas extremely busy and parking spots were at a premium.
Perfect location. Nice and clean. A larger TV for watching hockey games would be nice. Some things are a bit dated but a really great place. Steps to downtown but still nice and quiet.
The location of the house was perfect, walkable to queen street and also a 5 minute walk to the water front. Very clean cute and quaint. The upstairs did get a little warm overnight, would recommend a fan & we did have some issues with the fire alarm going off randomly during the day twice and once overnight.Overall though it was a great stay! We recommend Balzacs coffee, apple fritter place next to Balzac, Bella Terra winery and ask for Paul, & Corks for dinner!
Loved the location and the front porch! One of the kitchen cupboard doors was broken and the bathroom fan was quite noisy. I would also like to have a cutting board in the kitchen.
This was the perfect place for us old folks to go to the Shaw Festival. Itâs very handy to the Main Street. The furnishings are beautiful. Nice big kitchen to make breakfast. Very rapid response when I called about the fire alarm beeping.
Would definitely stay again.
This cottage was perfect for sisters attending the Shaw Festival. We drank coffee on the front porch in the mornings, then walked to breakfast (Niagara Juice Company has a pastry wizard in the kitchen), shopping, dinner, and all the plays. The house was clean and comfortable, and the garden plantings are beautiful.
We had one rainy day, perfect for coffee on the porch, but the front door isn't (yet?) functional, which means we had to run from the side door to the porch in the rain. Not a big deal, but once that small defect is fixed, this place will be perfect.
We would happily stay here again.
