Nice home away from home
My wife and I spent 4 days and 3 nights in Charleston at this place. The house was super cute and we loved the layout. The only negatives we had was the weather, which is out of anyone's control, some ants, and the beds. We chose this place because we wanted to take advantage of private pool and backyard (it was SUPER nice). However, the weather was cloudy and in the low-mid 70's with a cool breeze. The water was cold, but not that cold, however, the breeze and lack of sun made it unbearable. So we didn't get to fully enjoy the backyard and all its amenities (sadly). The other issue were with some fire ants. Although we didn't have any of them get on us or bother us too much, there were several large fire ant hills all over the backyard, especially in the screened-in porch area. Thankfully, they weren't much of an issue for us. Our biggest complaint, by far, was the beds/bedrooms. All rooms, including the master, were of decent size, but they are all very close together. The master doesn't have an actual door, but like a sliding barn-door type of thing. Luckily, we were traveling alone, but if you have other people, especially young kids, don't expect any privacy. You can whisper in one room and hear it loud and clear in the other room. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs and they're just too close together (in my opinion). I can't say about all the beds, but the bed in the master is not comfortable at all. Other than that, it was a 5 star rental that we'd recommend.
