Exactly what we hoped it would be and was even better than we imagined. Great location, near everything and great place to unwind after a day of hiking! 10/10
Pros: views are amazing; game room with pool table, ping pong, movie theatre screen and chairs, hot tub, location, plenty of kitchen seating, sauna, open concept house, gas fireplace in living room - all easy to use. Cons: gas grill didnât work. The right side of the grill completely didnât work and the remaining two burners only heated the grill to less than 200. Could not get anyone to help us because of the 7:30 PM hour on a Saturday night. The property manager or BOT sent us instructions on how to clean the grill as a possible fix. I had no intention of cleaning someone elseâs grill - I expect it to work when itâs advertised as being part of the home. Very disappointing. Basement bathroom had a terrible smell - not sure if thatâs usual or if an animal died in the wall. It was unusable for that reason. One of the theater black lounge chairs was inoperable even after we checked the power supply. We enjoyed our stay, even with gas grill issue which was very disappointing as we love to cook as a family. The property manager should provide instructions on how to properly use the gas fireplace and turn it on. We needed to text them for that information.
This home was the perfect house for our North Conway getaway! Hot tub was delightful, our kids enjoyed the movie theatre, pool table and pong table! Fireplace and scenery were divine. We shopped at the outlets 10 minutes down the road, golfed and enjoyed the Saco river. It was a wonderful getaway. Would make an amazing ski vacation spot!!! Highly recommend!!
House was as great as advertised. House was clean and everything worked like it should. Only complaint is that the kitchen range had its numbers scraped off. We could not tell which burner was controlled by which nob and if it was cooking on high or low.
Excellent property very close to North Conway, but off the main strip making it easy to get in and out. Great view from the living room and kitchen. Saw a bald eagle fly along the river. House is in good shape and everything worked as expected. There were some minor things like a stain on the comforter and cigarette butts in the backyard. There is no garbage disposal, so keep that in mind if youâre used to one. Overall, we had a great time and would book it again if we were staying in the area.
House is large and spacious. It was clean. Lots of options of things to do with the theater/ game room. Beds were comfortable. But it was 91 degrees outside and the heat was set on 70 degrees in the house. It was 78 degrees in the house and so stuffy. The heat had a lock box on it so we called for someone to turn on the AC. No one came until the following late afternoon. Also we could not use the hot tub for the first day and a half. It was beyond dirty. Full of sand and pollen. The management company came after a day and a half to turn on the AC and attempted to clean the hot tub. They spent 2 hours cleaning the hot tub. It still had sand in it but was better. Location of the home is great and close to everything. We would stay again just really hope they work on the hot tub issue.
Location was beautiful and house accommodated multiple people with ample rooms for all. However we needed to congregate in the basement due to the air conditioning not working in the house and we had no access to the thermostats. The house got up to 79 degrees. The basement was the only location that was cool in the house. Out of all of the windows in the house there were only 3 windows with screens that allowed us to get minimal air flow in the whole house. The challenges with the AC were addressed with management the night we arrived. Despite multiple communications with management there was no resolution. Management was supposed to call me, but they did not. The hot tub was only cleaned the night before we left. When we arrived the trash in the garage was overflowing. I did not expect to spend my vacation dealing with these issues. I expect some financial reimbursement for our issues. Otherwise Yelp will receive this review.
The home is nestled in a beautiful private location but super close to town with so many options to choose from for activities and food. It rained the whole weekend we were there but found that the entertainment in the house was sufficient to keep my grandkids happy and busy with games and watching movies in the home theater. We will definitely stay here again!!!
This house has a ton of space to accommodate a large group. Great view. Great basement level with plenty of stuff to entertain all ages if the weather isn't the best. Very kid friendly.
This house was perfect for a group ski trip. We had a little issue with the hot tub but the property manager was so responsive and came out immediately to remedy. The views are spectacular.
This was the perfect home for Our Family Weekend! Plenty of space and bedrooms for everyone. The game room down stairs was so fun and gave us all time to hangout and unplug and just spend time laughing and enjoying ourselves. We really recommend this home and the views were spectacular 🧡
This house is amazing. The home theater and hotub were awesome. very cozy and comfortable living room. So close to restaurants and shopping yet private. beautiful view of the saco river and mountains!! we will be back.
The house was in a great spot. Check in and out process was very easy. The house itself was pretty beat up and dirty upon out arrival. Family really enjoyed the stay other than the condition of the house.
Outstanding views. Convenient location. Nicely appointed. Spacious enough for 8 adults and 6 children with opportunities for privacy. Excellent game room.
Towels more than plentiful. However, odd that there was not enough glassware to go around.
Would rate experience A plus but for one serious shortcoming. The fence in front of property is not secure and potentially hazardous for families with young children.
The house was ok and the view is great. However, cleaning and attn to detail fall far short. An accurate representation of the property as of 1/21/24.
Carpeting is old, worn and dirty.
Cooktop has no legible writing, you have to guess which burner you are turning on and at what temp.
The LCD screens on the oven are the same. The kitchen lights flicker constantly, there is a dimmer but if you lower the dimmer, they flicker worse.
The walls are nothing short of filthy, a fresh coat of paint goes a real long way! You'll see as soon as you enter through garage and this is through the whole house.
Speaking of paint, in the foyer they only painted halfway up the wall (2 story foyer), weird.
The shower in the first floor bathroom is broken, you can use the tub filler, but you can't switch the shower on. So you only have 2 full baths, not 3.
None of the switched lights work in the living room, so it was considerably dark in there. The sink in the basement bathroom clogged constantly. The kitchen is severely understocked and missing basics (colander, cooking utensils, cookie sheets etc). It would be amazing if some attn to detail was handled. I was left with a sour taste when I asked if we could check out an hour later at 11am rather than the normal checkout, which is 10am. The reason for my request was because there were only 2 working showers for 14 of us considering the 3rd shower was broken. Their answer was no...
I love that this home felt secluded yet we were only minutes from the shops and ski slopes! When we werenât busy skiing we enjoyed playing pool, ping pong and watching movies in the âtheatreâ. We also loved the stunning view of the mountains while soaking in the hot tub. The property manager was very quick to respond to any questions I had throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property!
Pretty much the whole experience At first was wow, it was. Wow, this is great period the 2 problems we had were internet. At first week conquered on our own. Second was the sewer system was backed up for the whole stay. We were there twice in the morning. We could not use the water. The last day we were there. We had to use the water sparingly, so the Solar System might keep up.
