Bienvenue et merci de considérer notre maison pour vos prochaines vacances! Notre maison de bord de mer de 4 chambres est situé à 6 maisons de la jetée. Il dispose de 2 chambres en bord de mer (1 K, Q) 1 w / un pont supérieur. La 3ème chambre (1Q) est niché sur le premier étage de la vie privée offre. La 4ème chambre, également au premier étage, dispose de 2 lits jumeaux. Parfait pour les enfants! Une salle de bain complète sur chaque plancher de niveau et de bambou partout. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec ustensiles de cuisine de qualité et appareils, cafetière et d'un broyeur pour commencer la journée du bon pied, pot de vapeur pour la cuisson des fruits de mer locaux, et un mélangeur pour mélanger le cocktail parfait! Ceci est notre maison vacances personnelles et nous avons essayé de fournir tous les conforts de la maison, y compris Internet sans fil, haute de draps de fil, téléviseurs à écran plat, des jeux, des jouets d'enfants, et des livres. Bien sûr, la meilleure caractéristique de notre maison est le point de vue, bord de mer direct! Aucun équipement traîner sur la plage avant et en arrière!

October Stay Review

We had a few issues with things in the house but the owner was very prompt in responding and the issues were unexpected and not from the owner's neglect. There are some things that need addressing though. The MAIN thing is the photos of this house. I chose this place because it was very important to me to have an oceanfront view, which included the beach and shoreline, not just a view of water. The photos are completely false. The dunes are so high now that you can only see out to the water from the decks. No shoreline view. No crashing waves. No people watching. In the photos you can see the shore from the parking side of the house. Not so now. The view is completely blocked by the dunes. Updated photos are very much needed. I was so disappointed with the view. I would not have chosen this house if the photos had been accurate. The beds were not comfortable at all and some of the ceiling fans need to be replaced. Some memory foam mattress toppers would go a long way for comfort. We could not use our bedroom ceiling fan as it made a very distracting noise. Positives are the cleanliness and equipped kitchen and linens. I really hope the owner adds updated photos so someone else is not as disappointed with the view as I was.

Really nice, but roaches

The place was very nice, well furnished with basics amenities, extra toys and supplies for the beach, ample parking. We saw roaches and reached out to the contacts for the property. They didn’t respond, but an exterminator came the same day. Unfortunately, more roaches were found after the exterminator came, which put a damper on an otherwise great experience. The only other complaint would be the door knobs. They were very difficult to open and lock, especially for smaller children. The key is in a lockbox on the door, but doesn’t look like there is a way to change the combination.

Great location

Great location at Oak Island. Communication was good before and during the stay. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked. The binder in the kitchen provided ample information for arrival, departure, and area information.

Great little place

A bit older, no gourmet cooking, but a cute little place on the beach with a great view. Upstairs bedrooms were amazing. Slight moldy smell, but in all fairness we were there the week after a hurricane.

Great location

Pros-Plenty of room! Laid out perfect for a fun vacation. Easy access to the beach and the pier. Close to the grocery store and restaurants. Plenty of utensils and dishes for the biggest crowds. Plenty of parking space. Cons- Every door in house needs adjusting. The entrance/exit doors have to be dead-bolted or they will open on their own and daylight can be seen when secured. I understand it’s at the beach but basic maintenance is key! Screens missing on most windows. No lights working under the house even though there’s a switch. Definitely needs attention to the upstairs deck. Loose and missing boards. Overall we had a great experience.

The Pierspective house

.Great access to beach, near fishing pier and close to stores. The golf cart was a great plus with four people. Good sight seeing with the golf cart.

We had a great stay at Our Pierspective

The house is in a great location and exactly as described. We saw dolphins from the deck, got to watch a turtle nest excavation right outside the walkway from the house and on our last night there, we watched another turtle nest boil about a 1/4 mile down the beach. Lots of relaxation was had on our beach trip to Oak Island and this vacation house made that possible. Thank you for sharing your home.

There were a lot of great things about this property. Location, family friendly (my kids loved the toys!), nice furnishings, comfy beds, location!! Only complaint related to a bit of water damage on the walls, which I know happens being oceanfront. We’d probably still go back though- nice touches everywhere!

We really had a wonderful time in Oak Island. This property is clean and nicely appointed. The view from the back deck is awesome. The house easily accommodated six adults and the amenities were great. We will definitely stay here again when we vacation in Oak Island.

Nice property

This was a lovely home on the beach. Very clean, lots of seating for our crowd. We ran into a small issue with a new refrigerator that was defective, but the host compensated us for our lost food. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Beach Getaway.

This beach house was exactly as described in the listing. It was clean, modern and a stones throw to the ocean. What made my decision on renting this beach house over others when deciding to rent was the five star reviews this rental received. Everyone raved about their stay and those reviews were absolutely spot on. Rent it it you get a chance, you will not be disappointed.

Great spot for family vacation

We had a wonderful spring break week here with our three-year-old and three-month-old. Check-in was a breeze, and the views were even better than advertised. The location, just steps away from the beach and a few blocks from the fishing pier, is impossible to beat. It's just two miles from the Publix and other amenities. I rented a bike for the week and rode to get donuts or ice cream with my three year old almost every day. The host, Samantha, really thought of everything we might need and then some. The books and toys in the kids' room were a huge hit, especially the wooden ship! Between the bunk beds, the bean bag chair, and all the stuff to play with, our three year old was (blessedly!) occupied all week. We had a minor snafu with the AC a few days into our stay but Samantha was extremely responsive and put us right in touch her property manager, who quickly resolved the situation. The appliances are a bit dated but work fine, and the fridge is pretty loud. Other than that, I can't really think of any suggestions for improvement. If we come return to OKI, we would definitely stay here again.

Just what we needed

Hadn't been on a family beach trip in years and this hit the spot. House is right on the beach so no long walks crossing traffic. The house was just the right size for our family of 4 (2 teens). Owner was quick with responding to questions. Would definitely stay again.

Nice house on the beach

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house. The owner might want to consider replacing/fixing the fridge though - it was quite loud. Other than that everything was perfect
