Good location, but a very strange hotel.
This hotel is just OK. The interior condition is a bit shabby and it obviously is in need of a refurbishment. But the strangest thing is there’s no evening food or beverage service except Tuesday and Wednesday nights! This is just unbelievable. Absolutely no restaurant or bar except two nights a week. That would make me never stay here again because it’s inconvenient and there’s no place to hang out with your friends without leaving the property.

I have no idea why this place was so perfect for me. I have stayed in hotels all over the world, and this was just perfect (and 20 minutes from my house....I had to stay out for a night). Wish the pool was a bit warmer though.

The hotel was fine. But pricey for a room that was dirty. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Room was dirty. My son found a bottle cap underneath the couch and the train that goes by the hotel was very loud.

Convenient
Quick and easy check in, but not amused by the surprise $250 security deposit. Wish the lobby “convenience store” stocked Coke products. Included breakfast was good. Standard scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, French toast etc. Wish they had ramekins for the syrup, as it is messy to apply butter to one’s French toast after the syrup. The coffee station placed away from other stations was also not the most convenient. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very convenient for those traveling via AMTRAK.

An Emeryville, CA hotel
Although competitively priced compared to other hotels in the area, I didn't feel like there was much value for money at this location. The staff were borderline on strike, and some were sharp with customers. They have lots of strange rules, and still seem to be very much anchored in the COVID-19 lockdown culture. Also, they play a trick with extra parking charges, so be ready to shell out an extra $25 a night for leaving your car in their open parking lot. The best thing about the hotel is the good quality of the breakfasts, which are superior to other chains and are included in the price of the stay. This hotel is very close to the Amtrak station.

Great place to stay overnight after getting off the train. Complimentary breakfast choices very goood. Easy bus ride in to San Francisco. Food choices at the Public Market down the street were good.

Upon walking into the property the facility looked nice. I did not like the fact that the neighbor(215) was being very loud and disrespectful towards others trying to sleep. I also didn’t like the fact that they charged me for parking when it should’ve been included in my stay.
