This hotel is in a great location, but it is tired. The hotel could use an upgrade to make it feel clean and crisp again. Also, there was no regular coffee on the premises, which was unfortunate. The front desk people were very nice.

Just bad business
Listen, I don’t wanna bag on anybody’s business, but I pretty much stay in hotels for a living. Let me tell you when I was growing up, La Quinta properties were admired. They were something to strive for in the hotel industry, however it’s become overwhelmingly apparent that the La Quinta brand took a nose dive off the sixth floor a few years ago and now what we’re left with are subpar hotels, charging three star rates. This particular hotel charged me for a suite which they did not have. Now do I mean they were overbooked no, they don’t have these types of rooms on site. And yet they are charging for them. I asked one of the front desk representatives and his smugness was the cherry on top! Look, the materials in this place are cheap. The staff is rude and invasive. Save yourself the money and find a nicer place at the Clarion airport down the road. I told you.

Was only person in lobby to checkin about 630-7pm. No staff was around. After 10 minutes of waiting, I called the hotel. No answer. Had to call again before someone came out to assist. Two hours later went down 3 people waiting to check in with no employee in sight.

Find a different airport hotel
Airport hotel doesn’t provide a shuttle service before 9:00 am. Anyone who has an early flight has to find a taxi, uber or Lyft. Front desk staff is useless helping people. Also the room was near the stairs and the area/room smelled of pot.

They gave away my paid room, and no refund!!!
I had booked and paid for a night here at La Quinta for November 23rd. The website said to notify them and they’d provide shuttle service from the airport to the hotel so I tried reaching out to them, but I never got a reply. I arrived in Oklahoma around midnight, and was exhausted. I was just looking forward to sleeping. I get an Uber and head over to the hotel. I arrive around 1am. Upon arrival, the front desk person (he said his name was Kmari) says they don’t have any rooms. I quickly say I booked and paid for a room ahead of time. He smirks and says, “no, we don’t have any rooms left”. I ask again for clarification, and he says he doesn’t have a room for me. He did not offer any solutions, so I ask “what solutions do you have for this problem?” He did not offer ANY solutions at all, and basically wanted me to leave the hotel. I ask to speak to a manager and he says no one is available. I ask for the GM’s number and he refuses to give it to me. He called someone (I’m not sure who), and they tell him to contact surrounding hotels to see if they have any vacancy. He calls a few hotels and no one has rooms. So he says that that’s all he can do and kicks me out to the street (which is full of sketchy people). He eventually gave me a card and said the person that will contact me is Jay Patel. And of course, I HAVE NOT received a refund and I HAVE NOT received a phone call. I have traveled to various states and countries, and this was BY FAR the WORST customer service.
