We really enjoyed our stay here. This is a modest apartment in a gem of a neighborhood, an amazing location with easy access to so many places in Vancouver (transit, walking, train, etc.) It is a very urban area and has all the noise and such that comes with it.
The apartment is very nice, but it does need a little TLC. The washer/dryer, and AC unit were much appreciated. The balcony was great. I fell asleep reading one afternoon and it was incredible. My partner and I love Chinatown in Vancouver. It's very queer friendly, and close to so many great cafes, restaurants, and shops within blocks.
We didn't use the kitchen almost at all this visit, which ironically was one of the reasons I wanted to try this place. The bathroom though is the real centerpiece.
Our only real complaint was the mattress. It was very springy and kept the bed shaking when either of us stirred at night. For a couple of nights, it was fine. If we'd stayed longer I probably would have asked for a mattress pad or something to try and make it more comfortable.
At the time I didn't really feel the need to ask the property manager for any assistance, so they may well have offered.
Truly, the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because the mattress could be nicer (and that's where you sleep). Overall it was perfectly lovely.
