Unfortunately our experience of the property was utter dissatisfaction, the property was unclean, beyond wear and tear damaged and unsafe. Below is my final email to the host.
'Sadly, due to a somewhat inadequate response from yourselves and having given you what I believe sufficient indication of the issues at the property you are not adequately responding or have corrected the issues highlighted.
I genuinely feel that we have been mislead with the 'modern interior' and 'high end' descriptions in the property listing and photographs in which evidently poorer in real life.
Please see attached photographs from your listing in comparison to what we were subject to upon arrival. I immediately raised this stark contrast with you within the first two hours of check in on Saturday 1st June.
The property is not as you have described in your advert, such as stained and unacceptable pool condition, low level and scum on the surface and pool walls, unsafe pool furniture with hosepipe strewn across the lawn and patio, badly worn kitchen furniture beyond what I would deem as wear and tear when deemed 'high end', and also the poor cleanliness of the property.
I am therefore terminating my stay as of today 3rd June due to the property not being as described in your listing and ask that you take payment for the two nights that I have stayed at the property and provide a refund for the unspent remaining five nights 3rd to 8th June.
Finally, we have vacated the property'
