This is a GREAT property
We (4 adults, 2 children) stayed here for 11 nights from March 5-15. The 2 story unit was exactly as shown in the photos: quite spacious, nice decor, very clean, comfortable beds, and a fully equipped complete kitchen--owner is a chef from Italy.
A nice 'extended family' separation is possible at this unit: our kids and grandkids had the entire upstairs (where there are 3 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms) while granddad and grandma had the downstairs sleeping quarters (2 large bedrooms and 1 full bathroom).
The large full kitchen and spacious living room downstairs were also on the downstairs level (so we all came together for meals).
Downstairs there is also a small pool with safety gate, which was open to the sunshine while being fully enclosed from mosquitoes (of which there were virtually none). The pool (which you can pay extra to have heated, if you want to) also had a nice table, chairs, and chaises around it, so we were able to have some of our meals out there, but didn't of course take any glasses outside. plastic only, for safety reasons.
This was an end townhouse unit that was only a 1 minute walk away from both the Paradise Palms Resort clubhouse (with a free cinema, small convenience store, concierge services, and a reasonably priced token-operated video, hockey, and billiard games room) and an adjoining nicely heated extremely large community pool (with a large zero entry area, great waterfall, water slide, kiddy splash area, 2 jacuzzi (one hot), lots of chaises and umbrellas, nice tiki bar with wide alcohol selection and tasty pub-like food). There was also a nice nature trail with raised wooden boardwalk at the end of the property, where we saw herons, frogs, etc.).
In fact, the grandkids enjoyed all of the Paradise Palms amenities so much that we would come back in the middle of each day (we had 7 day Disney passes) to swim, and then go back again to Disney World (keep your Disney parking pass, which is good all day for you to go back and forth as often as you want to).
Property was just a 20 minute or less uncomplicated drive to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, etc., with lots of nearby restaurant choices and 2 different Publix grocery stores.
Free parking outside our unit for our rental vehicle--get a parking card from the clubhouse to put on the dashboard.
All-in-all, a great and convenient choice, and at a fraction of the price you would pay to stay at an on-site Disney property. We will be back!
