The house was as advertised, clean. The service experience was terrible. It was very difficult to reach a support person either before or during our stay. There was no attitude of being interested in helping us have a nice stay, more about “our policy says….”. An example is that I noted somewhere that we had to request that you activate the jacuzzi (for and extra fee over and above the price we paid). With some effort, I was able to reach the Vacasa support desk a couple of days before our stay and was told that I’d missed the deadline to request that. A better answer would have been something like, “We ask for 72 hours notice but will do our best as we’d like your stay to be as pleasant as possible.” I simply got “Our policy is 72 hours”.
Once we checked in, we found that the internet did not work, neither did any of the TVs or the system in the home theatre. I reached out to rectify that and, after a long wait, spoke with the Vacasa support desk. A restart of the modem didn’t fix the issue with the internet and TVs so I was told they would send someone out. That never happened so we had no internet or entertainment for our stay.
So, the net of it is that a home that was marketed as having a home theatre, heated pool and jacuzzi had none of those things for us. Not at all worth what we paid.
