Quaint, Quiet, and Cozy
Perfect location in the heart of Ouray! Loft was very clean and had everything we needed for our four day stay. Check in and out was super easy, property manager was responsive to all questions. Only draw back was the strong sewer smell in the loft...couldn't figure out where it was coming from and not much we could do about it. We cooked and lit candles to cover it up but that's the only real complaint we had. Great place and great town!

Great loft!
Could have been a little cleaner and there needs to be a screen in 2nd floor bedroom so window can be opened at night. No A/C so this is a must. Otherwise great place and location. Deck is wonderful!

Quick weekend getaway
Beautifully updated apartment built in 1890! The location is great- just a few steps from shopping and restaurants. We were within walking distance of many hikes- a big plus :) Management was quick and responsive when we reached out. This will be the first place I book on my next trip to Ouray!

Girls weekend
We came here for my sister-in-law’s 40th birthday and rented this vacation rental. It was clean, had everything we needed. Absolutely perfect. It was right downtown. We walked everywhere, including to the majority of the Hot Springs. I plan to come back again and stay with my husband soon. Perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay. We only have one complaint which is the temperature in the condo. We understand not having AC in mountain homes but only one window could be opened that had a screen. The floor box fans don’t help cool the bedrooms. Tower fans or ceiling fans would be helpful as none of us slept well with the heat.

Excellent place to stay. Absolutely everything you would need. We didn't cook, but kitchen is so well stocked. Lovely place to enjoy hot springs, hiking, the small town. Just a great location. Very comfortable for 4 adults. Highly recommend this outstanding apartment/condo.

My husband and I LOVED the style and space in this loft. Just gorgeous! Perfect location right above the main street shops. Easily walkable to everything because it's in the center of town. Great views from both front and back balconies too. Would love to come back and stay here again!

Renter Beware
Make sure you read all the reviews before committing to renting this property. Aesthetically the property is fantastic it’s modern and in a perfect location right in downtown Ouray and walking distance from everything. In actuality this property has two major problems that will negate any positive aspect of it. 1) No air-conditioning: I get it this is a high-altitude property and the number of days above 80° are few during the summer however if you are renting during that period of time the lack of airflow in the actual property will not help to cool it down enough so that sleeping at night is comfortable. I natural airflow in the property is extremely poor and there are only two small cheap oscillating fans to help augment that. The biggest source of airflow the front door does not have a screen door so it’s basically rendered useless because you let in a lot of flies. Additionally the overwhelming majority of the window screens have massive holes in them which again let in a lot of flies. This could be solved by adding a screen door to the front door replacing all the broken screens and purchasing a handful of window fans, not stand up cheap oscillating ones. 2) The downstairs bedroom queen bed: There are several reviews that described as bad as being horrendous and they are all true. The bed caves in towards the center basically forming a taco and making it impossible to sleep especially for two people. I addressed this issue with the property manager prior to my trip and they stated that they had replaced the mattress with a brand new memory foam mattress. This was true they did replace the mattress however it is way too soft in my opinion. More importantly this did not correct the issue of the bed sloping towards the center of the mattress. My two guests did not get a single night of adequate sleep and woke up each morning with their back in significant pain. After some investigation my friend and I discovered that the boxspring is broken beyond repair. We removed the mattress and tipped the boxspring over to discover that 3 of the wooden support slats we broken clean through. 2 running width ways and 1 running length ways. The issue of the bed will never be fixed until the boxspring is replaced. I reached out to the property manager to discuss a partial refund because they assured me the problem was solved but I have received no response. Until they fix these issues DO NOT RENT if you have 2 or more people and it is summer time.

We have stayed twice and this place is great. Perfect location. Our only complaint is it’s hard to get it to ventilate and cool down at night with no AC when it’s warm in the summer. A box fan for the window over the kitchen sink would do wonders.

Location is great. Wish there was an entrance off of the Main Street, but walking around the side wasn’t bad. Like other reviewers mentioned, the downstairs queen mattress is absolutely worn out. You will roll to the middle of the bed. Overall, the place is very clean and convenient to everything in Ouray.

I've never been in such a beautifully appointed kitchen. It was such a beautiful place to cook and hang out that we barely ate out. The top floor that we called the crow's nest was a great place to read and do my morning mail. The windows and door to the roof opened and the air flow made it very comfortable even on the warmer days when it went up to the high 70's. My travel mate ended up sleeping up there, fairly comfortably, but needed to because the mattress on the Queen sized bed was shot. You couldn't lie on either side without rolling into the middle valley in the worn out soft mattress. This mattress HAS to be replaced and has probably been end-of-life for a good while. There is one lovely two sink bathroom, which was fine for the needs of two people in the apartment. We really enjoyed the dining table on the deck where we watched daybreak and sunset as we ate breakfast and dinner. The soft lawn furniture was comfy and well placed. The apartment design is gorgeous and the views from the apartment are wonderful. It was so quiet. Again, our only issue was the terrible bed in the 1st floor bedroom and that is an issue.
