My last stay
The check-in was slow. We asked for the heating to be switched on, but it did not make any difference. We were frozen—phone Reception again from the room. The lady said she would turn it up. It did not seem to make any difference. We slept with our dressing gowns on and were still cold. We asked for a morning paper and never got one. I ordered a meal from room service with pasta advertised as a bigger plate; when it arrived, it was not enough for a one-year-old, and the waiter asked for a tip before he left the room.

Oxford @ Christmas
We used the gym and spa which were well equipped and Spa was OK. There were some families in with small children enjoying the pool so it wasn’t particularly relaxing and quiet but the steam and sauna were nice. Room was clean and hotel was relatively quiet. Being on the edge of town it’s quite a walk to the centre but we used the excellent bus service, leaving just across the road from the hotel and only £2 per trip. We’d stay here again, good value accommodation for Oxford.

Lovely little stay
It is such a lovely hotel. It smells just drvine and this was my third stay. The 2nd time in this room actually. Sadly the bathroom floor did have some small flecks of dirt, the bath had rust on and we were unable to get the plug out of the bath. These are such small minor things but are worthy of note. The staff were fabulous as usual. The communal eareas were beautifully decorated for Christmas. And whilst ive already said it it is worthy if a second mention. The hotel smells amazing!

Good location to Oxford. Lovely and Christmassy. The breakfast layout is ideal with children. Staff at reception were a little slow when we came late at night. The gave us some complimentary coffees for the wait. Otherwise great place with children.
