Great property but Unsanitary and unprofessional Management
I sympathize with the property owner as their place is mismanaged by Vacasa. Upon arrival, my name was not on the guest list, the carpets were filthy, and guests were told that outside visitors and deliveries were prohibited. It took several days for a Vacasa manager to rectify the guest list issue, and no goodwill gesture was offered for the inconvenience, including having to wait for carpet cleaners perform.The kitchen utensils and cookware were old and unsanitary, and the towels were a good 10years old and stained. Although Vacasa eventually provided new white towels and replaced the chipped and insufficient dishware, these issues should have been addressed sooner. Despite being newly renovated, many amenities were outdated and unhygienic.Overall, I am very disappointed with Vacasa’s unprofessionalism. After showing patience and addressing concerns, the management informed me they would charge for an additional night due to "excessive trash," which was mainly packaging from newly provided items and old, soiled towels. This incident highlights Vacasa's disorganization and inconsistency, making the experience frustrating despite the property's appealing renovation. Vrbo is always wonderful and made a goodwill gesture, but Vacasa is very unreliable and disorganized.
