This one Cons outweigh the pros:
Immediately entering we were knocked out by heat. It was 80+ degrees in there. We fiddled with the thermostat, set it on 70 (on 73 initially) left for a couple hours to run errands and allow a temp change, returned and still on 80. Called Vacasa, stated no one could come out until tomorrow and credit $50. That’s NOT equivalent in the least. A whole night, sweating. Haven’t used one amenity. Not to mention, the LR TV wasn’t working until WE worked to get stations playing. This is a total inconvenience. Heat and eczema, in these circumstances, do not mesh well, and this has completely triggered an episode. The people who cleaned, where was the awareness? What is an emergency? Water, heat and air. Those seem like priorities. Very ratchet and unprofessional. I’m livid. No communication. And don’t reply to this review with answers or already had conversations on the back end when they were never relayed to me. Please be prepared to be contacted everyday until I receive a credit and I will be prepared to go the lengths of contacting whom ever I need to in order to get it done.
The socket in the bedroom on the, facing right side, is behind the bed. FYI. Extension cord they have is extremely short.
4/6- arrival - 4:40pm 80 degrees- adjusted thermostat in hopes it would change; left to allow any changes.
4/6 - returned no change, 6:13p clld Vacasa: ticket placed
4/7 -12:13am 80 degrees
4/7 9:02a- 80 degrees -clld Vacasa, no update. Unable to get one. Allegedly someone will call me back.
4/7- 12:04pm 80 degrees
4/7- 1:44 pm - clld for an update, none given. Allegedly someone will call me back.
4/7- 801pm- no response 80 degrees
4/8-342am - 80 degrees no call
4/8- 934am - mysteriously we feel coolness, thermostat 78, we contact Vacasa and let them know it apparently fixed itself and even though no one called us, we assume no one has to come out. Spoke to someone local. She said the maintenance guy could not get out and a couple other people. She said the local manager was in the field and guess what, she will call me back that day and discuss compensation for 2 nights, and did not.
4/9-4/10- a/c works normal. No call.
Pros:
Pulled up and entered was a breeze. The attendant and lady in office were very personable. We found the condo easily. The place was clean. Great view, nice balcony. Stocked with items such as cleaning items, paper towels, tissue, Tupperware, utensils, iron, towels, etc
