"Wir waren 5 Nächte im Venus Beach Hotel. Insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen und wir würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen.
Anfang Juni war es noch relativ ruhig und angenehm, man hat immer eine freie Liege am Pool gefunden. Zur Hauptsaison wird das sicherlich nicht mehr der Fall sein, da zu wenige Liegen für die Größe des Hotels vorhanden sind. Die Strandliegen waren bereits jetzt ab 10 Uhr morgens alle belegt (2,50€ pro Liege und 2,50€ für den Schirm).
Halbpension ist empfehlenswert. Wir hatten nur Frühstück, haben aber das Buffet fast jeden Abend dazugebucht (30€ pro Person plus Getränke). Die Restaurants in der Nähe fanden wir nicht sehr ansprechend und das Hotelessen war gut.
Innenpool, Spa und Gym sind zur Zeit geschlossen. Definitiv kein 5 Sterne Hotel, aber das war uns anhand der Bewertungen vorher bewußt. Es war aber alles sauber und ordentlich.
Beim Personal ist noch Luft nach oben. Andere Länder punkten mit Gastfreundlichkeit, Zypern hat eher "osteuropäischen Charme". Keine Begrüßungen, es wird selten gelächelt, man fühlt sich nicht wirklich willkommen. Das haben wir allerdings nicht nur in diesem Hotel so empfunden, es scheint eher die generelle Mentalität der Menschen zu sein. "
