The Host Andrew made our stay special
It is the little things in life that really made a difference. The accommodation was great but the host was fantastic. Little extras that were left for us really made the experience special. Highly recommend the stay.

Perfect Accommodations
This cottage was perfect for our family of 4 and we'd definitely stay again. Great set up with the 2nd bedroom for the kids being upstairs in the loft with their own bathroom. Close walk to mini golf and beach. It has everything we would need and was close to entrance for easy coming and going.

The townhouse was very comfortable for us four sisters to visit, eat and sleep. We enjoyed visiting Englishmen River Falls Park, Coombs, the beach and Qualicum. We would have appreciated having some salt and pepper with our meals.

Great weekend away

Great access to Rathtrevor Provincial Park
We loved the location of the house. It was less than a 5 minute drive to Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We spent several evenings down at the beach. The house itself was private and well-stocked with essentials. The furniture and bedding was comfortable. My only recommendation is to replace the stand-up fan that exists in the unit. It was barely blowing any air and was not helpful up in the loft. Also, more portable fans or a ceiling fan in the main bedroom would help with cooling.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Parksville at this Oceanside resort cottage. Clean place with everything you needed for our extended stay. Communication with the host was prompt and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Lovely cottage
Our cozy cottage was perfectly appointed with everything you could need for a short or longer stay. It is very quiet and private. The short walk to the beach makes for a great location. The pool was under renovations so we weren't able to try that out, but certainly will on our next visit. Communication with Andrew was easy and he was very accommodating. Thank you-we'll be back soon!

Cozy Cabin
The property was clean and as advertised. There was a lot of snow and we were able to borrow a shovel and clean the driveway and the front steps. The steps were very slippery. We filled the propane tank to be able to grill our dinners. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. There were lots of towles and the showers had excellent water pressure . The front room and fire place were cozy as we watched the snow fall. Close to everthing clean and safe area. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Thank you to our host who quickly responded to communications.Check in was a breeze. We did not use the pool but there were cards and towels available to do so.

Good location 5mn drive to the beach a bit longer ca 15mn/20mn walking distance due to the restricted private access which prevent the short cut. Communication with Andrew was very good. Small negative point, which may be due to the fact that we were off season, is the dust on the furniture and the blinds, which was quite visible due to the dark wood. Still we enjoyed our stay very much and the kids enjoyed the pool

Comfortable unit
Ideal for two couples, the unit is a short walk to the complex facilities. It is within (longer) walking distance of the beach, more restaurants and bars. There is plenty to entertain children including the indoor pool and hot tub, mini golf and forest walks to the beach. A 5 minute drive to Parksville will meet all your grocery, restaurant and entertainment needs. Host was easy to communicate with, the unit was clean and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequately stocked: bring spices, kitchen/garbage bags, foil, cling wrap, dish brush/scrubber for stays longer than a weekend, as well as board games for inclement weather. Ocean Village Resort is a great place to vacation and we can’t wait to return.

Super cute space and was very clean. A couple of sticky spots on the kitchen floor we had to clean but was otherwise pretty clean. Kitchen could use a few more items like scissors, a scrub pad for dishes and maybe ziploc bags. The loft area was quite warm at night but there’s a portable fan and a window we opened so that helped a bit. A bit longer to the beach than posted but a beautiful spot just the same. My friends and I used the local spa but I wouldn’t recommend it. The service and treatments we received were sub par. Next time I will pay the extra and try the Ty na mara grotto spa next door. Overall, a great place and we would stay again.

The host Andrew was absolutely a joy with communications. The cottage was spotless and everything you need for your stay was included. Things were thoughtfully labeled. This is a great area to stay - close to the resorts and beach. I was very impressed and will definitely stay here again.

Great family weekend.
The cottage was perfect space for three adults and 2 young children. The weather was very warm but the ceiling fan in the living room and floor fans in the bedrooms worked well to keep it cool inside. Great private deck out back. Close to all the amenities. Liked this unit for its location just off Resort Road as well as access to the pool and mini golf for evening fun.
