I want to start off by saying the location of this property is amazing! The bay is steps away and the ocean is a very quick walk across the street. It’s perfect when the ocean has strong currents… you can relax in the calm bay waters. Also, the condo is big enough for a family get away with plenty of room to spread out. Now the negative….
Upon arriving (on a Saturday), we found a note on the washer saying it was out of order. This was a shock since we were staying for 7 days. I immediately called the rental company and they were quick to look into it and said that someone would be coming on Tuesday. No one ever came and I had a voicemail at one point saying they were waiting on a part to come in. The person I spoke with representing Vacasa did say we would get refunded $25 per day that we went without the washer. The cleanliness of the entire condo was lacking in many ways. The floors were disgusting… we tried to vacuum, but the vacuum didn’t work. We swept and were going to mop, but there wasn’t a mop. The oven door came apart and one point and we had to fix that. The couch in the living room had a bad smell, the bathtubs were dirty… For what we paid for the week, we expected a little more attention to be put into the place. I don’t blame the cleaning company, I blame the owner for not managing the condo properly.
