When we booked, it looked totally different. I understand that a storm destroyed the area and it had to be remodeled. However, the pictures do it justice. It is decorated with very cheap, small furniture in the den and dining room and it shows.
On site, the sofa looks miniature for the room and it's uncomfortable. Also, there was potato chip bags and candy wrappings in between the cushions. There is only one other chair in the "den" (uncomfortable too).
The dining set is very cheap looking with black leather seats (looks second hand); not what is expected for an upscale resort. Decorations are as sparse as the furniture.
Bedroom No. 2 needs a box spring. There is a mattress sitting on top of a mattress; very uncomfortable and not sturdy around the edges. Mini television which was useless.
Master bedroom has a big dip in the mattress - very uncomfortable.
Patio furniture: There is an outdoor sofa which was full of mildew. I had to clean it the best I could before we could use it.
Kitchen not very well stocked with needed items. We were only give ONE dish towel. I had to purchase a pack of dish towels for our stay.
Overall, we were totally disappointed in how cheap this condo appears for the price paid to stay there. Portofino markets as an "Island Resort" giving the upscale impression. This unit falls well short and it not worth the money.
