Pure Place to Stay
Kathryn was a fantastic host. She was quick to respond and took the time during our trip to check-in to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The home was cozy and offered a great view of the lake and sunsets. It is conveniently located to all the activities in the area. Having worked in the hotel industry, there is a fine attention to detail from cleanliness, decor, snacks to kitchen items. We will look to stay here when we return to Pentwater.

Mid-week get a way.
Very clean, very quiet, very nice. Had all the amenities needed to cook, relax and enjoy. The beds were comfortable ( although I like a softer pillow ) and the whole decor was pleasing. The weather was typical of early November, rainy and windy, loved looking out the windows at the lake. The one warm ish non rainy afternoon , we spent on the comfy deck. All in all a place we would happily return to.

Amazing cottage on the lake!
One of the best rentals we have ever had! Beautiful cottage on a nice sized inland lake. The cottage was in excellent condition. We couldn’t ask for better hosts. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. There were so many nice touches from Kathy that made us feel so welcome! We will be back in the summer!

Beautiful Cottage Lake Stay
We absolutely loved our stay at Pentwater cottage. It was beautifully appointed and we felt right at home the minute we walked in the door. Cathy was so very helpful with questions that we had before our trip. The area has lots of fun things to do. We enjoyed live music at a local winery, shopping in downtown Pentwater and (the highlight) the amazing sunrise at the hidden gem beach. It really was an amazing long weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 25th birthday with close friends and family. Highly recommend!!

Annual summer beach town getaway
The house and property are wonderful, just as described and pictured. So many personal touches from the host made the stay extra nice. We chose this listing for the location as we were in town to attend the Cooper Allen concert at the venue Stix in Ludington. It was a quick, easy drive and we all highly recommend it! The food is amazing and they even have a bowling alley for family fun. We were blessed with the most gorgeous weather, low 80’s and sunny everyday and enjoyed walking around downtown Ludington and spending a day at Stearns beach as well as shopping in downtown Pentwater. The best part was relaxing and enjoying time at the Pure Pentwater Cottage. We floated, kayaked, soaked up the beautiful views by the water and had a great time playing ping pong! We did experience a couple “bumps” in our stay however the host Kathy contacted a service repair person quickly and kept us updated on the status consistently. This did not take away from having an amazing time and we appreciated Kathy’s efforts. We definitely look forward to returning and can’t wait to see the area in the cooler months!

A Little Slice of Paradise
Simply could not get enough of the view across Bass Lake! Loved it from sunrise to the amazing sunsets. It checked all the boxes for us including comfortable beds, convenient access to restaurants, complete kitchen, and enough room for morning Yoga. Clean with designer touches and thoughtful amenities. Definitely worth the 5 stars!

Little Slice of Heaven
We felt so welcome with the snacks and drinks available when we first arrived. Pentwater is in the middle of lots to do! We loved the quiet nature of the house but appreciated being close to lots of things! Perfect for what we were looking for! The host was quick to respond with any questions and we loved getting to know the sweet neighbors to the right of the house! It was the perfect getaway!

Pure Pentwater Perfection!
We booked our stay with our daughters and their families to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We booked the property based on the space, location and the beautiful interior and exterior spaces. We were thrilled as soon as we arrived and enjoyed the home, yard and lake every single day and evening. Our hosts clearly thought of all the details-extra coffee pods, lots of towels, ample cooking utensils, the list goes on. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable and the paddle boat and kayak were used and enjoyed by our whole crew from eldest to our two year old grandson. We brought our small boat and used it on the lake for fishing, Tubing and sunset cruise's. We would highly recommend a stay At Pure Pentwater Cottage!

31 year girls reunion
What an incredible property! The neighborhood (and neighbors) were wonderful. The view… outstanding! We could not have picked a more perfect place to reunite and reconnect after so many years! We had so much fun laughing around the fire bowl and enjoying the view. We watched a bald eagle multiple times flying around the lake. Inside was just as wonderful, with tasteful decor and many sleeping options. There was plenty of space and we never felt crowded (even with 7 and only 2 bathrooms!) Thank you Kathy for providing the space for such a spectacular reunion. We hope to make it a yearly occurrence!

Beautiful stay on Bass Lake
My family has been vacationing in Pentwater(on Bass Lake) for about 30 years. This home was amazing! We spent many nights talking around the outdoor fire pit, kayaked across the lake to the channel that leads to Lake Michigan and enjoyed the sunshine on the deck. We would love to stay again next year!

Wonderful Stay!
My youngest brother turned thirty and my family and I were looking to celebrate his birthday for a weekend of family fun. The home was absolutely perfect. So clean and so much to do! We were all so impressed that we agreed if we end up in Michigan again we'll be staying here! The host was very responsive and kind, the home was set up beautifully with amenities and it was spotless. Could not have asked for more!

Morning coffee enjoyed on the nice deck viewing beautiful Bass Lake. Kids caught fish right off the dock and enjoyed the water. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. We would certainly stay again!

A beautiful home
And I really do mean a home. This didn’t feel like a VRBO rental or someone secondary residence. The owners have made this space a place where everything you need is already within reach or already thought of. The living area was wonderful, and the kitchen was decked out with top of the line appliances and quality, utensils, and glassware and silverware. While we didn’t bring a little one on this trip, we were impressed to see that the space is prepared to have tiny humans, and we may bring ours in the next trip, to this home, for that reason. I could not more highly recommend this location and residence in Pentwater!

An amazing fall getaway!
This place was just perfect for our fall girls getaway weekend! The place was impeccable and we had everything we needed. There is so much attention to detail throughout. We laughed, cooked, played games, relaxed, sat by the fireplace, and outdoor fire pit. The town of Pentwater is super close and easy to get to. We had plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The bedding was great and the beds were very comfortable. I would love to come back in the summer season but fall was just as magical! Thank you!
