In my opinion, Perfection

If you would like as near perfection this side of heaven, stay at Xcaret! This place is ideal for safety and security. Tip: Figure out which parks you want to visit before you arrive, actually call the hotel to reserve them! Restaurants, too, that require reservations. This way you'll get the most out of the tremendous amount available! Great for anyone -- except maybe the elderly? There was a lot of ground to cover every day. But if you're fit and can walk, enjoy the VAST offerings of Xcaret. Expect the best service and attention, a gorgeous property, unbelievable food, and lots to do.

Considering the scale of Grupo Xcaret, my wife and I were disappointed by the lack of effective communication with their guests. Unfortunately, during our vacation, we encountered issues with the hotel due to the Guest Service team's failure to communicate clearly. Prior to our stay, I made multiple attempts to contact Guest Service via email and phone to confirm the transfer from Cancun International Airport to the hotel. However, I did not receive any response. One day before our check-in, I tried reaching out again, but it was a challenge, I had to call four times before finally connecting with the Guest Service Manager. She informed me that Hotel Xcaret does not provide shuttle services for guests who do not arrive in Cancun on the same day as their check-in. Additionally, they do not offer hotel-to-hotel transfers. The lack of communication was frustrating, as I had sent multiple inquiries, including through Expedia, yet my specific question remained unanswered. We were not informed of these policies in advance and were simply expected to be aware of them. What was even more disappointing was that, despite my request, they did not offer a complimentary shuttle service from a hotel in Cancun to their property, even as a courtesy. Considering the premium rates per night, my ratings for the hotel are as follows: Guest Service: 0/10 Hotel Campus (Beaches, Caves, Arch.): 10/10 Room: 7/10 Services & Staff: 10/10 On-campus Attractions: 4/10 Access to Restaurants: 3/10

I booked my trip with Scared for 5days trip over five thousand dollars. The night before my flight got an email from the airline due to a bad weather issue my flight ended up being cancelled. I contacted Expedia and let them contact hotel right the way to see if I can cancel or save my credit for future rebooking. But Expedia told me at the point property can only take cancellation request and to see if they can approve a waver for my penalty. And after few days Expedia ended up told me they didn't get hotel's approval for the refund. That means almost 6000 dollars of my money gone. I don't understand it's not my personal problem that I can't make this trip happened. They don't even give any exception for force majeure reason. And the hotel not even have a attitude try to fix anything. They just want take your money with no reason and no exception. If you want book this hotel please make sure the weather of the day you go will be nice and make sure your flight can fly on time. Because they also don't give exception for late check in. Good luck!

Staying at Xcaret was simply one of the best vacations we have had! The entire service and staff was amazing, we had everything and anything when we needed it. Food was superb and delicious. Now being an all-inclusive aside from the all you can eat and drink it includes entrances to their amazing parks which are filled with so many thrills and adventures, from zip lines, snorkeling, rides to Isla Mujeres on a catamaran, driving jeeps in the jungles, swimming in rivers with crystal clear waters etc, etc. Words just don't do this place justice.

By far the rudest most disrespectful and aggressive guest agent we have ever encountered in all the years of our Global travel! To avoid great disappointment and waste of your hard earned vacay money do your research on location and find out what parks, restaurants and amenities are actually going to be available during your chosen dates. Bottom line is this hotel takes your money and nothing is guaranteed! Xavage park is closed and the metric system they created for finding rooms in this massive property of more than 5 buildings is so confusing especially since they do not explain how to get around when you initially check in and if you arrive in the evening the buildings are ghostly and dark with no staff in sight to help or guide you out of the buildings and back to their lobby. We will never return and do not recommend you stay at the hotel because they screwed up our entire stay for our anniversary. The parks can be enjoyed without having to stay at their hotels which are horribly over priced especially with all of the issues we encountered.
